great for small ear canals, fine for rx glasses
Owned for 1 week when reviewed.
- Very good music quality
- Almost undetectable (nano-seconds) delay with videos
- Good phone quality - almost as good as Samsung Buds Pro.
- Light-press buttons, almost touch-sensitive
- Lightning charging port, not USB-C
- Ear loop is a bit big, not adjustable
I had purchased the JBL The Rock Project earbuds before these. Those were great and fit very comfortably but the phone call quality was horrible. I returned them and got these and boy are they an improvement! The phone call quality rivals that of Samsung Buds and the music is very good with better bass than JBL and Buds.
My only complaint is that the ear loop is a bit large. They sit fine on my ear and even during strenuous workout sessions, they don't fall out or anything, but you can clearly see the loop sitting with a gap at the top of my ear. My ear does start feeling a bit sore after a few hours of wearing them but I have very small ear canals so no points deducted there.
Also, compared to the JBL earbuds, the button on these is very light. I felt like I was pushing the buds in too deep when pressing the JBL button but on these it's so light that the earbud doesn't move or feel pushed in.
One more thing: I wear glasses and I've seen both good and bad reviews about using these with glasses. I've used them for the past two weeks and so far I have absolutely no issues. I run with them and it doesn't bother me at all. I guess it depends on what glasses you wear and how the ear loop sits on your ear. For reference, I wear Costa Forest Reef 300 prescription glasses. They sit flush at the crevice of my ear and head and the powerbeats sit on the outside of the glasses.
I originally purchased the AirPods Pro but they kept falling out regardless of what combination of size adapters I put. So I changed to these since I primarily use headphones for the gym. These are so far the best wireless headphones, they don’t fall out when I do any workout, even cardio. They charge in the case and the case charges with an iPhone charger and the case holds a long charge. They pair the same as any AirPods and show up the same way. Worth the purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend

Great headphones if you don’t compare them .
Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.
The quality is much better than the AirPods but not as good as most quality over the head - headphones .
I have both AirPods and beats solo three over the head headphones . Initially I was comparing them to the solo 3 sound quality and was disappointed . However , after realizing the purpose of the headphones , and understanding how difficult it would be to achieve the same sound quality in such a small set of earbuds would be extremely hard and much more expensive. They look better than the AirPods but are not as casual/convenient .
The beats are perfect for their purpose . Great sound for the size and portability , and great functionality for working out .
Side note:This isn’t for females with little ears tho. I let a friend who is about 5 feet with small ears try them and they were much too big.
I got these paired with a Samsung Galaxy s9plus. Sound quality is fantastic. I love the independent functionality of these, I am a bus mechanic and my normal days are 10 hours (hopefully). I only wear one at work for safety reasons. I start at 3:30 am and I have been able to get through my entire day listening to music and talking on the phone by the time I get in my car I still have 30% or better depending on how loud I had them I normally keep the volume i would say a little over 25% in volume for me to hear the music or calls. When talking on them the call sound quality is awesome.
I received these about a week ago after pre-ordering them on May 3rd. Before this I owned a pair of the Bose Soundsport Free. I like listening to music and watching videos with these headphones. My Bose headphones had a noticeable lag when watching youtube videos. These headphones did not suffer the same fate. I also like how sturdy they feel on the ear and I believe the sound quality is the same or maybe slightly better than the Bose. I have an iphone so the Hey Siri function is nice too. The only thing that I may have liked better on my last Bose headphones was the way that the crescent shaped buds felt a bit less intrusive in my ears. Other than that these are a win!
The bass, the immersion, and at the price point of Apple AirPods, I don’t see another better deal and bang for your buck. I sometimes don’t even notice they are in my ear while I’m walking, with music off that is. And I don’t think I need to tell you that these are not going to fall out of your ear no matter what. The case is a tad bit on the bigger side but you’re walking around with an extra 24 hours of juice for your beats on top of the 9 hours each earpiece.
TLDR: I enjoy these and will never look back to AirPods or Samsung buds.
Battery life smokes any other “true wireless” buds
Owned for 1 month when reviewed.
I honestly feel they should have supreme sound quality above anything else at this price point. That being said they do sound better than many other buds I have owned over the years.
The battery life is simply unrivaled when compared to all other high-end “true wireless” earbuds. I get a solid 8 hours continuous play at full blast. I haven’t seen any other quality buds get much more than 3-5 hours.
Be sure to invest some time in perfecting your fit. My ears were very sore the first few times I wore them. I tried every different size of silicone fittings with no luck and was on the verge of returning them. I really didn’t want to so I decided to mess with the hooks and positioning of them in different ways. After some creative testing I found the right position. The over-ear hooks have pliable wire under the rubber covering so can be fully adjusted. If you lack patience you may not find it worth the extra effort finding the right fit. It was worth the investment for me.
Placing back into the charging case can be tricky, so I suggest taking a visual note before removing them for the first time.
The case itself is rather large. If you’re adamant about having a case that you can pocket and forget these buds may not be right for you.
All in all I’m happy with my purchase, yet I must reiterate, sound quality should be nothing less than awe inducing for what you pay. After all isn’t that what the main use is for?

A:AnswerUnfortunately, I've had the connectivity issue that the others described as well. The right earbud, and sometimes the left, doesn't work when I get to the gym to use. Therefore I'm always having to take my case with me and, forget device - recconnect to bluetooth. Its a major pain. I sent them back to Apple and they sent back saying nothing was wrong with them. I'm going to file another claim because its still doing it and has done this since day 1. Way too expensive to have this issue ongoing.
A:AnswerThey are bluetooth, so you don't need the case to use them wirelessly. You can go look at some of the Youtube videos that the tech bloggers are posting. Idk why everyone is comparing the Powerbeats Pro case to Airpods. I'm an athlete, and I can appreciate putting my headphones in a case that I can throw in my gym bag and they will stay safe - while they charge. If the battery life is so long, why would you want to walk around with a case in your pocket anyway?
A:AnswerWatch the YouTube video MacRumors put out on the unboxing of them. It shows him wearing these with sun glasses on and moving his head around. According to him, they feel fine and only a small area where the headphones and glasses touch or overlap, but nothing too crazy. Seemed like a comfortable fit to me.
