A: This wireless charger can charge any device equipped with the QI technology. If the tablet doesn’t have it then it cannot. I got this for my iPhone 8 Plus. The 8’s and soon the X will be the only Apple phones that allow wireless charging. That is why Apple placed glass in the back of the new phones to allow this type of charging. I just tried my iPad and it didn’t work.

A: No, the light indicates that an item is located near the charger, close enough to be charged. Mine does the same thing, and my Samsung upright charger which has a red light will show red, even if the phone is fully charged.
