It works well. Allows me to have external drives housed in a cabinet away from laptop. Speed is an issue, but that's to be expected with a 10-foot cable.

most aftermarket cables for the ipad dont charge properly, however this is by far a more cost effective solution to add some length to those short apple charging cables.
