Q: Does the drip pan go underneath the heating element or above?
A: Above. The point of it is to keep food from dripping on the heating element as well as on the bottom of the oven. It couldn't do the former very well if it were located below the element.

A: No, it is not bpa free
Q: What is the maximum weight the rotisserie can handle (mainly, how heavy a chicken)?
A: I’m not sure about weight, but space is the problem. The advertised 4 LB chicken is to big for rotisserie. We tied him together every way and it was just too large. When it would roll, it hit the drip pan and would knock off mount
Q: Can unit stay plugged in the outlet to be in off position?
A: The manual says to unplug it.. I dont know what exactly it would hurt if you left it plugged in though. I've had mine about 2 weeks I think and I unplug it when I'm done. Not the best answer but probably the safest. Also, side note. The first couple time you try something different I wouldn't go to far from the air dryer until you know how it will cook. I had a rotisserie chicken going and a wing got loose on me haha.
A: Hello, thanks for reaching out. On this oven, there is rod heating elements on the bottom. And a circular heating element on top with the fan pushing down. Most air fryer heating elements you wouldn’t see turn red. The bottom on this one does cause it’s a similar one to a toaster oven only on bottom to ensure even cooking. Have a nice day. Q: Is this fryer a toaster oven too? How many chicken wings will it hold?
A: I just cooked about 20 - 25 wings in mine.
Q: Does the interior get greasy and need to be cleaned like an oven needs to be cleaned?
A: Yes, but I haven’t had any issues wiping it down with a cloth and an organic multipurpose cleaner after it cools. I think the steam created during cooking makes cleanup very easy. There is also a drip pan that gets cleaned like the crisper pans. It pulls out and gets a bath in warm soapy water.
