Bella Pro Series - 4.2-qt. Analog Air Fryer - Matte Black

A reminder that an "Air Fryer" is just some variation of a convection oven - it's a heating element with a fan - you can't fry with air so most of these devices rely on efficiently heating items that have been coated with a little bit of oil. Since most US ovens aren't air-circulating ovens, these devices can work wonders. All similar devices have something of a food containment drawer with enough surrounding space to allow for the circulation of hot air. The greatest effort that is recommended is that you periodically remove the drawer and shake the contents to promote overall evenness of heat throughout the cooking process. Small air fryer appliances like this one are not really best at cooking things from scratch - this isn't a little oven. But for reheating frozen foods (french fries, onion rings, pre-cooked chicken wings, chicken strips, ...), these devices are unparalleled. The 4.2 qt. capacity is meaningless (since you won't be filling this with water?). In action, it would be perfect for a dorm room (in non-pandemic times) or for reheating foods in a small apartment (it doesn't take up much space). Great for a couple who might depend on reheating foods frequently - great for anybody with a couple kids who depend on reheated frozen foods. My attached picture: frozen onion rings.

This new class of Air Fryers is entirely new to me. i’ve been a long time fan of fried greasy foods, despite the health consequences. Now Air Fryers provide nearly all the beneft in a much more healthy solution. It heats up very quicly and does a fantstic job reheating foods all the way through, while crisping the outside using efficient air circulation. PROS + easy to use (simple design, 2 buttons, temp and time ) + can fit a lot of food in the 4.2-qt basket at once + pre-heats really quickly + relatively quiet operation + it made our 4 day old soggy french fries really hot and crispy in less than 5 mins CONS -difficult to decrease time on the timer -if you overshoot it, you must wait for the time to expire -counter space footpriint is larger than 2-quart digital Bella model -gets hot on outside so have to be careful not to touch it or have it too close to anything -not as precise as digital model (but basket 2x as large) CONCLUSION I’ve seen these Air Fryers for several years now, but had neglected them as viable alternatives to a convection oven and traditional deep fryer. This Bella analog 4.2-qt Air Fryer makes it footproof, and lets this heart patient enjoy fried foods with the negative health consequences. Recommend

I absolutely love this airfryer! It does an amazing job cooking everything from chicken, salmon, to heating up leftover. Bought it last blackfriday for only around 20bucks, worth every pennies! But after a year of using it, now all the numbers and letters are all gone!:( would recommend this for a budget airfryer, and only if u can do sth to preserve the numbers and letters, the cooking is perfectly fine! Great machine!

I got this air fryer for this Thanksgiving and it works amazing for a wide range of food items. The frying is very even and food tastes a lot bettter without the typical burnt taste you get on a stove. Best part it is so easy and quick to cook a meal. Have used it to dry roast peanuts, fry samosas, chicken, chips, fish, shrimp, potatoes, and a wide range of veggies. Highly recommend this product! The curbside pickup was very quick and convenient at Bestbuy.

I think this item is awesome the only issue I have with this item is that you cannot clean the knobs where the numbers are much because the numbers will fade off and the dots. Also this item burns out completely within 4 1/2 to 6 months if you keep heating things on 400. In general, it will burn out in six months and you will have to keep replacing it!

i got this because my old 3qt just stop working ,, it's nice to have large size but it also takes up more counter space.. also prefer to have mechanical and not the electronic digital .. there is only a rack on the bottom of a single basket ,, that seems to work .. but physically ,, i donna see how it provide better heat flow while cooking ,, like my old that had 2 separate baskets with space to have good heat circulation ..

Got this for my daughter-in-law for Christmas and she loves it. She said she uses it almost every day she’s very happy. Anything I didn’t like when I got it from UPS the box was damage..

I was so excited when I first received this air fryer. I literally cooked in it three times before the drawer decided not to want to lock anymore. It was gently pushed in each time but now it just pops open preventing it from working. I failed to read the other reviews that mentioned this flaw. If I had, I most definitely would never have purchased this. I recommend spending a little more and investing in a better air fryer.
