A: It is very easy to clean, just use soap and water. It comes out nice and clean.

A: No the light turns off when it reaches the set temperature you want it at. So if it turns on and off it’s just the unit warming it to the set temperature if it starts to cool

A: Yes, works fine without exhaust. I had on countertop and dining table. Never had an issue. I had 3 going at once.
