Good choice for limited options
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendFor those of us who are restricted to using the PCI interface for our graphics scalability, this card is a good choice. It is not the newest, brightest and most powerful card to date, but it is good enough for most purposes. I mostly purchased it to fuel a new 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor that was not supported correctly by my integrated graphics card. If you're looking for a little boost in your gaming performance on an older computer, this card will do the job well; it works well for the little gaming that I do. I previously owned a nVidia BFG OC GeForce FX5500, which was at the time the most advanced card available for PCI connectivity; this card is a little more promising. Note, however, that this card is not meant for "serious" gaming, mostly because of the narrow throughput of the PCI bus. If you really want to do some gaming, I suggest first purchasing a newer computer (or motherboard) with at least an AGP port (although, that technology is also waning.) Overall, if you just want to be able to support a newer monitor on an older computer, this card will be useful. It is also not too bad at gaming.

Good PCI Card
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI have a Dell computer with a 2.8 ghz processor. BUT, It also has a PCI express x1 card slot which was effectively obsolete B4 it came out. (@#$%^&*&^%$!!) However. being stuck using a PCI slot, I was pleasantly suprised by the performance (no stuttering), the clarity & overall look of my screen. 2 things that are VERY important!: 1.) Shut off ALL other apps while installing the drivers off of the CD rom. My AVG anti-virus kept halting the process because it thought the driver was a virus. Once I killed all other apps, the driver CD loaded fine. 2.)Once up & running, I occasionally experienced an intense PC freeze-up when I went into 'Nvidia control panel' & tried to adjust video color & other related settings. I went to BFG's website & downloaded the latest driver & now this card works flawlessly! I run Star Wars Battlefront II over a 65" HDTV (the card even recognized my TV's make & model #!) & it doesn't stutter & it looks beautiful! If it can handle my set-up, it's a GOOD card!

Posted .I would recommend this to a friendOkay. I have a old dell so i dont a PCI-E/AGP slot. So i bought this... For CSS you get about 40 FPS on all maps sometimes 60 w/ everything on low. And on Stock Settings like 35. trust me install it right so you dont have to get BFG its bad..

Last resort product!
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendSo yesterday I walked into Best Buy looking for a PCI graphics card. Out of the two left, I chose the [sadly] better GeForce 6200 OC. I'm getting an iMac soon, so this card is just to tide me over. I didn't expect that my computer would overheat AND need more power. So today I got a fan. That solves the overheating. But I just figured out that my power supply is inadequate. So next weekend I'll be getting a 450W or higher power supply, hopefully not from BFG Tech. Did I mention the overclocking doesn't make the card any better?

great product
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendevery one says that the card is broken and stuff but its usally not, its the driver. I had the same problem trying to find a drive that would work but once i got one the card worked perfict. I'm limited to a pci bus so this would be my first pick. If you have a pci-e slot buy something like a 1790 pr 1880 there like the best. But for a pci this card does the job. I would recommend this card to any one who only has a pci slot.

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendThis geforce 6200 oc PCI card will play simple pc games. However, games with 3d effects and shading give it problems i.e. Choppy game play and slow responsivness. My computer has Pent 4 proces, 512mb ram. More than enough to play a Disney Cars Mater National game, but it won't play without choppy and slow movement. The install was simple and without flaw it worked fine for everything else.
