There ARE special features but not much - anything is better than nothing; mostly in the way of short interviews. Maybe covid19 interfered with them adding more bonus features, who knows. I loved the 1st film, really liked the 2nd film, but this 3rd film is not so great. Some people love it, some people are "meh." One would think after decades in between films, they'd come up with something better (a complaint of Indiana Jones 4 as well, along with Jay & Silent Bob reboot). And, while there IS HUMOR in this film, I literally laughed out loud .. maybe TWICE, the rest of my reactions were.. smiles. Comparing it to the first 2 films, I really expected much more comedy in this movie. But it is so overwhelmed by plot points, it's as if they didn't have TIME to find the humor. And the "time travelling historical figures" seemed more obligatory than necessary. The kids are charismatic in their own way and did well with what they had, but I wish they had more to do and more time with them, as well as Bill & Ted, instead of this "plot is priority" route they went (the exact same feeling I had after watching Back to the Future 2). If you didn't watch with a group to split the video-on-demand of $20, then this bluray is worth the price, and you many even go back again and watch it in a few years. Not bad enough to sell or give away, but not really an annual viewing event either.

After being massive fans of the first two movies, "Bill and Ted Face the Music" is a most triumphant return to the characters that we love. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter still have their excellent chemistry, but their daughters, played by Brigette Lundy-Paine and recent horror icon Samara Weaving, play their parts well! There are plenty of other new and returning characters from previous films (I won't spoil them), and there's plenty of nostalgia if you liked the last two films. The only bogus aspect of the film that I didn't enjoy was the mediocre soundtrack. This criticism might differ from person to person, but there were only two songs that were decent ("Circuits of Time" was the coolest track), but everything else was meh. "Excellent Adventure" and "Bogus Journey" had better soundtracks. Overall, this is still worth a watch, and be excellent to each other!

I’m a big Bill and Ted fan (see my review of the Bill and Ted Most Excellent Collection Blu-ray) and I really liked this third film in the series. Much more like “Excellent Adventure” than “Bogus Journey,” it is a fitting end to the trilogy and provided a great escape during the pandemic year of 2020. The Blu-ray A/V is great, although I’m disappointed that it did not come out on UHD. The bonus features are a bit light but what’s there is good. For fans and newcomers, this Blu-ray is non-heinous! Station!!!
