Worked great on my laminate flooring!
||Posted .Was surprised at how much suction it had. You could see the dust bunnies being pulled to it and ducked up. Saved so much time doing the sweeping and cleaning at the same time. Very pleased with my purchase.

A Perfect Duo for Hardwoods & Tile
Posted .I have been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free; however, all opinions are my own. Bissell paired a floor steam cleaner that heats in as fast as 30 seconds with a powerful cyclonic action vacuum that picks up dust and debris in one pass. The vacuum picks up the dirt and the steam cleaner steams and sanitizes the floor without chemicals. The Symphony arrives in just two pieces which click together easily. A well-marked handle release lets you lengthen the handle and on-board instructions tell you how to fill the water for steam as well as how to remove the mop, empty the dirt cup, and fill the water chamber. These well-placed icons and instructions mean that anyone will be able to use it even after we’ve lost the instruction booklet, which we always do. What I love about the Symphony is that they put together a great vacuum with a great steam cleaner. They're fantastic on their own, but as a duo they're revolutionary!

Did an amazing job on our floors!
Posted .The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. I recently received a Bissell Symphony All in One Vacuum and Steam Mop for review, and I am very impressed with this product. Our kitchen and bathroom floors needing a deep cleaning so badly and the Bissell Symphony Steam Mop Vacuum did an amazing job! The really cool thing about this steam mop is that there are 3 ways to clean—vacuum or steam separately or use both at the same time. Save time by vacuuming debris and steaming hard floors at the same time! This steam mop vacuum is pretty small and lightweight, and will not take up too much space in your home. The 5-way adjustable handle lets you get it the perfect height, and anyone in the house can use it comfortably. It includes 4 washable microban antimicrobial mop covers -- 2 scrubby and 2 soft -- and it covers an 11 inch cleaning path, and a 25 foot cord so you can reach the whole room without unplugging it. It features hooks to wrap the cord around for storage. I don't know how we managed without the Bissell Symphony All in One Vacuum and Steam Mop! This is the best steam mop we've had and it has really helped with our spring cleaning this year!

Perfect Steam Mop and Vacuum For My Needs
Posted .I was a little nervous to test this out for my review on my blog because if it wasn't as great as it sounded then I'd have to write about the flaws. To my relief I feel in love with this All In One steam mop and vacuum. There was no confusing moments of how to empty the vacuum cup, put water in the steam mop section or how to operate it and the best part is how great my floors look now that I've used it. We have a 3 room cottage so I'm frugal in storing things and this has just made my closet more spacious since I can get rid of my vacuum and mop. My favorite features are: 4 mop head pads that wash up easily, long cord and ease of use and that it kills 99.9% of germ and bacteria. I really love it and would recommend it to any family, friend or person that reads this review.

fantastic floor cleaner
||Posted .I have had the Symphony by Bissell for about 3 weeks. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, a teenage boy and a 10 month old boy crawling around. You ain't really seen a dirty floor until you have come to my house. I USE THE SYMPHONY EVERY DAY. It is awesome, fast, and after you use it your floors will pass the barefoot test. I love that I don't have to worry about chemicals on the floor with the baby crawling around and that I don't have to constantly buy pads or other products to make it work. My house is entirely tile floors and over time I have noticed that the grout is lightening up because it is getting cleaner! The only thing that It doesn't handle well is more than a few particles of kitty litter; I still need to get out the regular vacuum for that.

My New Best Friend
Posted .**I was sent this product to review in exchange for an honest review** Here's the thing - I have 13 cats, a large long haired dog, a son in a customized wheelchair and more people in and out of my house that don't live in my house - on a daily basis. I also live in New England where we have snow a good 5 months out of the year and right now - we're in mud season. Keeping up with the floors is a daunting task that, if I had it in me, should be washed every day. That said, washing the floors before this Symphony came along required vacuuming them first. Then getting out the steam mop and steaming them. Then vacuuming them again because by the time I got to steam them - someone had dropped particles of debris or there was fur flying about the floor that would just get pushed around the floor by the steam mop. The whole process was time consuming. The Symphony has simplified that process. I can vacuum and steam all in one sweep of the machine. The wheel marks that one speaks of in another review - I found that to be true as well - however, simply bringing the machine back towards you in the very same path that it was moved forward eliminates those marks. The head of the steamer/vac - it fits under my refrigerator door, the stove, and because of it being a compact size, I can get it between my sink and toilet in the bathroom and under narrow cupboards in the kitchen. The mop pad attachment is designed to come off the machine by stepping on the back of the attachment. This makes it easy to remove a dirty pad and replace a clean pad. Simply step on the back plate, the attachment is released from the machine. Pick the machine up and the attachment is left on the floor for you to pick up and exchange pads out. Putting the attachment back on - is simple. Set the machine atop the attachment and it locks into place. Unlike another reviewer stating she had trouble with the mop pads staying on - I had no issue. In fact, when I first saw the attachment and how the mop pads attached - I was concerned they wouldn't stay in place. That said, I've used all 4 mop pads the machine came with and not one of them has fallen off. If you're new to steam mops - you have to remember to give them a chance to get damp from the steam before being able to have them glide easily on the floor. If you've never owned a steam floor cleaner with mop pads then you don't realize how nice it is to be supplied with four mop pads when you purchase the machine. The reason for that is if you haven't washed your floor in some time - you'll be surprised at how fast they get dirty. For that matter, you'd be amazed at what a steam mop will pick up after just washing your floor with a regular mop. Plus, when they begin to get saturated with wetness from the steam, you'll want to change up to a clean pad. If you don't do that, then don't expect a clean looking floor when you're done. The handle is adjustable which is really a nice feature as I can adjust it so that my back doesn't feel the after effects from it not being in a good position for my body. The handle has the touch pad controls on the outside at the top. It's extremely easy to control which setting(s) you want. In the handle opening is where you'll find the squeeze lever to put the machine in motion. It's in a place where you'd naturally hold on to the handle - making it easy to hold the lever down to steam/steam & vacuum/vacuum. The water reservoir, in my opinion, holds a decent amount of water. I had to refill it once when doing approximately 300 ft. of continuous steaming on the high setting. Some may see this as a downfall, but remember that the more water in the machine - the heavier the machine will be to move. The debris cup is small and does need to be emptied often; however I find that to be true with the new vacuum I got a couple months ago as well. The cord is a 25' cord. Unfortunately, this is near the standard size of floor cleaners and if I had my way, they'd be 40 feet in length. In addition, if I had my way, all floor cleaners would have a built in light. The vacuum I find works best when heading straight into debris. That said, the suction on this vacuum is strong enough to suck in a Doritos potato chip the size of a half-dollar. I actually had that happen not realizing what I was about to vacuum up. I have a few gaps where the floor comes together on my laminate floor - the suction is strong enough to suck the sand out of those spots. We have lots of sand in one bathroom where the animals have a bucket of water. This bathroom has a tile floor. The fur and the sand the animals bring in (it's shedding season and they love to go out and role in the sand and on the tar) is left about the floor. The machine glides well over the tile floor and does a good job at vacuuming up the debris, including the clumps of dog fur (remember dog is long haired...she also has an undercoat that is extremely thick). We also have some linoleum flooring. Again, the vacuum does well as does the steamer cleaning it however I did find that the machine doesn't glide as easily on the linoleum. That said, my older floor steamer didn't either. All in all, this machine had I had to pay for it out of my own pocket, is well worth the money spent. I save so much time and energy doing my floors. Easy to use, versatile, space-saving, cuts floor cleaning in half

easy for after dinner clean up
||Posted .we live in the desert where there is always dirt and sand. we have a 6 year old and 2 dogs that track in the misc things. this device helps at the end of day to brighten the floors with no extreme efforts I found with a rag mop or sponge mop. I like the overall savings as I no longer have to replace the sweeper pads when I opted that as well. I no longer have issues walking barefoot in the kitchen. Only problem I had was when I tried to use in bathroom, it does not fit in between tub and toliet. Cramped space but not default of machine. I did use it every where else in the bathroom especailly those dirty corners that fill with dust. 4 stars as it helps my back and my husbands back, and gives us more family time. 4 stars as price was high.

Not bad
||Posted .Nice to have vacuum and steam in one unit. Vacuum has average power. You have to keep the washable filter clean. The steam portion of the appliance is good. Limited reach into corners because vacuum portion of head is in front of the steam mop portion. One thing to watch for is the portion of the mop head that connects with the main machine/vac. It is a weak connection and prone to break. You must be sure that the mop is completely wet with the steam before forcing it over your floor. Especially true with hardwood.

Q: QuestionHow many square feet will it clean with one paddo you have to keep changing pads
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It depends on the state of your floors. The first time we cleaned our hard wood, we didn't change in the middle of mopping, we just mopped twice. We have about 400 sq ft of laminate and 100 sq ft of tile. After mopping last week, I mopped all of the laminate with 1 pad and never changed it.

Q: Questionis this safe for laminate flooring
Asked by diane.
- A:Answer We've used it on our laminate floors multiple times. We typically leave the mop on the low steam setting and don't let it sit in any one place for more than a few seconds. If you do that, it works great!

Q: Questiondoes it remove dirt from carpets or it's only for cleaning floors?

- A:Answer It's not a carpet cleaner. You could steam spots in the carpet with it, but it won't clean carpets.

Q: QuestionHow is this on area rugs low pile and high pile
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Glad you asked! This unit is designed for use on hard floors but there is an optional carpet glider that allows you to use this unit on low pile carpet and rugs for light vacuum duty and to refresh your carpets with steam. It is not intended to replace a deep cleaner for spot cleaning.
