Wesley Snipes stars in this action-packed sequel to Blade, which has been given a slimmed down, but well-executed, presentation for this single-disc edition and follows New Line Home Entertainment's lavish two-DVD release of the same title. Blade II has been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Viewers have a choice of three audio options: Dolby Digital Surround, Dolby Digital EX 5.1, and DTS ES 6.1. All three tracks are in English, and this edition features no language options or bonus materials.
Not to often is a sequel as good or better than the original production but New Line Cinema, hit it completely out of the park with this one!
This follow up to the original Blade which was released August 1998 casted Wesley Snipes as a half vampire, half mortal man who was the protector of earthly humans and open up cans and cans of whup a_ _s!!! on these un-desirale creatures of the night and a few day walkers.
This is a must have Blu-Ray that came with a DVD + Digital HD Ultraviolet copy, an excellent value courtesy of Best Buy.
Hats off to New Line Cinema for a very good sequel to the original production of Blade.

Its the Sequel
Guillermo Del Toro direction is amazing. You can always tell when he's in charge. There are certainly some tell tale signs he uses as a signature when directing. I can't imagine another actor portraying BLADE cause Snipes is Blade. Great action/ fight scenes. Thanks to Donnie Yen being the fight choreographer on this one.
After a good Blade (1) outing, the follow-up by Del Toro takes it to a whole new level. Action is amped up as one would expect in a sequel, but this outing offers a solid story and gets surprisingly scary on some occasions. Definitely the "must watch" of the series.
Top notch follow up that's on par with the original. I continues from the first very well and it featured excellent special effects which I think were done by ILM. The action sequences were fast paced and entertaining that didn't disappoint.
Guys, it's a vampire killing movie. It's not Dances with Wolves or some big epic movie, it's brain candy. The storyline is good, acting is good and graphics and effects are great. A lot of action and fun ride. All three movies never disappoint!!!!
