It's crazy this movie is more than 40 years old and looks more stylish and creative than nearly every movie that came out in the last ten years. And I'm happy to own this in a pristine 4k disc format. The colors in the Final Cut look a bit more "greenish" than the previous versions, but this is what Ridley Scott envisioned, so I'm okay with it. The sounds are great too. I don't own BR2049 yet, so maybe this will soon be outdated, but this movie has the best sounding synth sounds in a 4k disc I've seen. The uncompressed beauty of Vangelis's score is still awe inspiring. One part that could've been better in this disc is the grain. This movie appears more grainy than other shot-on-film 4ks I've seen, but it's only in a few scenes. Though on the other hand, I am a fan of grain, but some very obsessed fans might not like it lol

This movie is a cinematic masterpiece & a must buy. The case came in pristine edition compared to my previous Amazon purchases which is much appreciated. Fast & free shipping was also a plus.

I recently bought the new one and loved it, so I wanted to see the first one. I new it was a somewhat cult classic, I just never got around to seeing it. I did enjoy it, but it definitely has the feel of an early 80’s movie. It reminds me of 80’s music videos.. a little on the strange side. However, the 4K presentation is top notch! For a movie this old, they did an absolute fantastic transfer. At the end of the day, I’m happy that I picked it up and will watch it again. I just like the new one better.
