I got Bleach memories of nobody because I am a major fan of the series. Like most anime movies that come on during the duration of the show it is completely filler, and of course loads of fan service and large battle scenes in which all characters show off there super power. But Bleach memories of nobody does have a few touching moments to. Story If you don’t know the back story of Bleach you should definitely check out the TV series before watching the movie. Basically a teenager with a bit of an attitude problem named Ichigo acquires the powers of a soul reaper (grim reaper but with samurai swords instead of scythes) his responsibilities are to protect the world of the living from evil ghosts known has Hallows, and find and send good ghosts or wholes to the soul society before they turn into Hallows. However one day he and his partner Rukia encounter a new type of soul they have never seen before Blanks. Blanks are souls that got lost during there journey to the soul society, because of this they have lost all there memories and act purely on instinct. To add to a mystery a young soul reaper named Senna shows up and destroys the Blanks. Senna seems to be a little bit mixed up because she can’t remember what squad she is in and where she got the ability to use her zanpakto. But another problem appears before Ichigo, the valley of screams. A natural phenomenon that happens in between the worlds of the living and the soul society that the blanks cause. However this time the valley has grown so big that it is pulling the two worlds together and if they meet it will be the apocalypse for both worlds. The secret to stopping this is to find the Shinju, a thing that has the blanks memories before a group calling themselves the clan of darkness gets it and uses the blanks to destroy the two worlds. Of course half way through you know there going to get the Shinju and Ichigo and pretty much all the captains of the soul society go to battle, the last 20 minutes of the film is pretty much one big Bonki parade. I almost feel sorry for the person who plays Bakuia, he only has 3 lines and of them is the lines to his bonkai. While filler there is some good stuff. For instance not since season 1 have Ichigo and Rukia really worked together to cleanse Hallows. We get to see a continuation of that relationship. There close to each other has far has there work goes but Rukia being the wiser and more experience soul reaper has to keep reminding of Ichigo of his mistakes. Like if he uses his special combat pass to leave his human body to make sure he doesn’t leave it in public (her scolding him is one of the funniest lines in the movie). We also see Rukia fight something we haven’t really seen in the English tv series either. All be it the usual anime movie filler it does have a few good moments with the relationship with Senna. Senna being hyperactive and a bit on the selfish side Ichigo has to watch her and keep her out of trouble. What happens to Senna at the end is touching, all be it is now grave of the fire flys. The DVD The DVD pack may be interesting to Bleach fans. It’s a 2 disc set the first disc has the English dub and the Japanese sub. Both are worth watching in my opinion. There is also a commentary with some of the English VA, while they don’t tell you a lot of stuff it is obvious there having fun in there booth poking fun with some of the movie. There is a 2nd disc most of it is Japanese trailers but there is a 30 minute interview with not only the voice actors but everyone that is responsible for bringing Bleach to the English speaking world, this includes the manga to. Plus a 15 minute interview with some of the Japanese producers of the movie. In the end it’s a lot more then what you get out of an anime package. Final recommendation. If you’re a fan of Bleach then you will enjoy memories of nobody. If you have never seen the series I would suggest picking up season 1 before getting into the movie, there is a lot here that isn’t explain and could confuse new viewers.

Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama Think I may have downloaded this a long time back when there was no English release and not even sure if it had subtitles. Just remember watching it and loving it. Now, I get to watch it and enjoy it with full understanding! Memories of Nobody introduces a new character named Senna. Won't do any spoilers if you haven't seen it. Really loved her character and I hope that she might reappear in the series at some point...unlikely as the anime has ended. She's got that pure innocence about her that naturally draws Ichigo to her. Main bad guy has a cool, suave appearance, too. Fighting scenes were great as always and a little bit better animated than the series itself is. Lots of extras built in here. Have a few movie previews built into the first disc. 2nd disc is pure extras. 22 minute walk-through of the Viz studio working on Bleach manga, anime, and movie. Japanese interviews. And all of the different ads and promo videos for the movie. Good stuff. It's been running on sale for $5 the past month so everyone should definitely pick it up and watch. Don't have to be a fan of the series to enjoy the emotion and action going on.

Well, like others have said the action is great and the characters are well rounded. We see Rukia use her zanpato for the first time which is exciting and the music really touches the emotions. The best thing is the rich story line, which most anime really have. And what I think is the meaning of the movie, well its what I got: "That for all the 'Nobody's' out there in the world, there will be at least one person who'll remember your brief existence." Keep watching after the credits! You'll see. And the ending song is great.
