Great Blender

The Vitamix is too tall. I don't need many settings, so the buttons this blender offers is just fine for me. Easier to clean than my last blender and I got a good price from BestBuy when it was on sale.

The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 (would have given 4.5/5) is because it still suffers on occassion from the air pocket effect, where when there is anything frozen, it will create an aipocket which then prevents the mixing, no matter how hard the motor goes. With that said, it still does its job fast and does it well.

- A:Answer This is not the same blender as you can buy from Blendtec site--though it has the same model number. This version only has a 1-year warranty, and I've tried more than a dozen times to register it on Blendtec site, but it keeps being rejected. Blendtec, so far, has been unreachable at their given phone number--their phone number is stuck in a "we are closed for the holiday" mode.

- A:Answer No. Only a one-year warranty, and Blendtec won't let you register it on their website--I've tried more than a dozen times. They also won't answer the phone so I can inquire about it.
