The other storage option would be to use a Sync Module 2 along with your doorbell, and plug a USB flash drive into the Sync Module 2. Q: Does it need to be screwed in the wall or how can it be placed if staying in an apartment?

A: I had my maintenance guy at my complex put it up for me. He mounted to the wall on the side of the door. A neighbour of mine has hers mounted to the door itself, she said she used the 3M tape.

A: No but it puts itself into "event response" meaning that it only records motion or records when the button is pressed. This is because the doorbell at idle when just on battery isnt constantly connected to the internet for battery saving puropses. Q: Is the Blink doorbell like the ring, im considering in one are they same or different?

A: I've had the ring doorbell first generation and 3rd generation they work great but the thing I didn't like about Ring doorbell is the time it took to retrigger another motion alert I purchase the blink doorbell and loved it much better than ring doorbell the retrigger time for a motion is only like 10 seconds for the blink doorbell I would definitely recommend blink doorbell over the ring doorbell before you purchase the blink doorbell you may need to buy they're sync modular for the blink camera system I've already had one so I'm not for sure if the doorbell works without one also if you have any blink security cameras they also have an accessory flood light that works great with the outdoor cameras

Q: How does this work/connect with Alexa? I know it is wireless but does Alexa make a noise/chime or makes an announcement?
