Another great camera from Blink!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I have a few Blink camas installed outside of my vacation home in another state. It’s great to keep an eye on things, but a few times after being alerted I wish there was a way to talk to people knocking at the door or whatever. What a great surprise when Blink announced that it was bring out the Xt2! It has a few other battery saving options, but the speaker was the best part! I swapped it out with he old one and I can now talk to folks on the porch if necessary. It even fit on the same bracket (although the FAQs said it wouldn’t.). I’m coming up to two years in the fall and have yet had to chance a battery. Theses camera are great!

Best Camera ever!
||Posted .I bought these cameras after a crazy event with my neighbor and recommendation from a young employee at Best Buy. I love these and am glad he recommended them! They are economical to purchase and there is no monthly fee. You can talk on all of the outdoor cameras. When I travel I love that I can check in on my house. I know who is coming and going. (I have teenagers) I can control the cameras, arm and disarm, and set the sensitivity area and trigger time all from an app on my phone. I can also download and share the video whenever needed. I can get good angles on my house without being constrained to the ring door bell angle. I have one that covers my whole yard. The batteries are supposed to last years. My front has a lot of use and the batteries lasted a year. The replacement batteries are just lithium energizers that I bought replacements for on Amazon and were not much more than regular energizer batteries. These cameras work with Alexa since they are amazon compliant (I don't have Alexa), but you do not need it to work. I just have the blink app on my phone. I love that I can remove them when I move and take them to the next house since they are not installed into my doorbell. I have one indoor and 3 outdoor. My regret was not buying all outdoor cameras. They are worth the extra money so that I could have added it to my front when there was another issue with my neighbor.

Good value Outdoor camera system
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Got this Blink camera system for my home. Got one camera set up in the side of the house and one set up on the front entrance. Both cameras deliver clear video day or night. I can watch live stream on my phone using the blink app without any issues and also having the ability to talk to anyone at the front entrance as needed. I’m including a picture of what you see while using the app. The set up couldn’t been easier. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase, and highly recommend this system.

Great totally wireless camera .

Great camera
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.The Blink camera is as good as it gets for the price. It’s very easy to install and even easier to setup. We liked our first one so much we got a second. The 2nd night we had our first Blink we caught a guy at my truck. He looked right at the camera I’m guessing when he noticed the blue LED light up. That was at 3:03 AM. Long battery life is a big plus.

Great cameras
||Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed.These cameras are very compact with great video quality and superb audio as well. They have night vision you can even make out different faces with the night vision activated. They alert you when motion is detected, they only record up to 60secs of video. IT DO NOT OFFER CONTINUOUS RECORDING. They run off two double AA batteries but i ordered a 30ft micro usb from amazon so mine are on continuous power.

- A:Answer You can only have one username/email address and password per account however, you can download our app to as many compatible iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices as you’d like, so the entire household can receive alerts or check in at home. When launching the app on additional devices, please use the sign in option to access the account you created on your first Blink connected mobile device. You will not have to go through the setup process again. Please note you will not be able to use Live View from multiple devices at the same time.

Q: QuestionIs the Blink XT2 camera compatible with the XT system?

- A:Answer Yes the XT2 camera will work with your existing Blink System as it uses the same sync module. You can have up to 10 Blink devices per sync module as long as they are all within the 100ft operating range of the sync module in any direction. The cameras on the sync module can be in any combination.

- A:Answer The Blink System is fairly easy to install and really requires following three simple steps, download the Blink Home Monitor APP on your compatible mobile device, connect the sync module to your wifi and add the Blink cameras. If you are not a current Blink System user you would need to make sure that you purchase the System and not the add-on camera as the System would ship with the sync module needed to operate the cameras whereas the add-on camera would just be the camera to add to an existing Blink System. We ship each sync module with the power adapter and cord and each camera would ship with the batteries and mounts.

- A:Answer On the Blink cameras and within the Blink App itself there is not a way to zoom. Users do have the ability to zoom into a motion clip and live view (by triple tapping or pinching and stretching the image).

- A:Answer The Blink XT2 cameras can not reliably detect motion on the other side of glass. Some users have placed cameras facing out a window or through a glass door to use the Live View option. A Blink XT2 camera looking through glass will react to the near side of a pane of glass, so it will not be activated by motion beyond that to create clips when in the Armed state.

- A:Answer We just hooked ours up today and the pic quality is actually really good. Even in night mode! It is black and white in night mode but I think that’s normal. This was our first blink camera so we made sure to buy the camera that was Not the add on camera. I didn’t realize that at first, that the other camera that is only $10 more comes with the module you need to make the camera work. They work so good we’re going to buy more.
