Very useful
|Posted .Best way to make purchases or add game time to your account, if you're planning on not using your credit card.

Very poor product and customer service
|Posted .So, I have always been a big fan of Blizzard's games, so I thought that it would be a good idea to buy a gift card toward buying some new game content. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer and just spent over $650 on new washing machine. I purchased this $20 Blizzard gift card online and it arrived, so I went to Battle.net and input the code. I received an error message and the $20 was not applied to my account balance. I tried it several more times and checked the accuracy of the code multiple times. Finally, I contacted Best Buy support who said that their system said that Best Buy had not scanned/registered this card before sending it out. So, I drove over an hour to my nearest Best Buy store and the customer service rep tells me that his system says that the card code was used and therefore, could do NOTHING for me. He said that I had to go back to Blizzard and they would have to figure it out. So, I went back to Blizzard customer service and after 90 minutes, the rep tells me that there is nothing that he can do and that I need to pursue this with Best Buy. Best Buy has lost my business over this. Worst customer service I have dealt with.

Handy way to add currency for game purchases
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThese cards are a great way to add money to Blizzard Games and BattleNet. The cards add money to the members account so they can by items like pets or mounts or services like character transfers, race changes or any of the multitude of things that Blizzard/BattleNet offer. One of the great uses for these cards can be as reward for kids/teens for chores, good grades or anything you reward them for. The advantage is that the buyer doesn't even have to know anything about games or even computers, you can just pick up a card and send to the gamer. Great for grandparents or relatives as gifts. I treat myself on periodic basis for different things. You can't go wrong as long as the gamer plays Blizzard/BattleNet games. Only downside (if you can even call it that) is it's a fixed amount of $20 and to date I haven't seen any other denominations. Great and convenient item.

Easy to claim online
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendHello, I recently purchased a bunch of these for friends who play blizzard games, and I also bought some for myself. I play Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft.; I was able to easily claim codes online to update my battle net balance which can be used to buy all sorts of stuff in game. I bought some WoW game time, and some heroes of the storm heroes and skins while they were on sale throughout the holiday. The only thing I don't like is that say you buy a 20 dollar card... online items are taxed, so your card is really only worth a 17 or 16 dollar items.. because the rest goes towards paying for the tax.. i ended up with some change left on my balance that isnt enough to buy anything.. but i guess that's how all gift cards work. I guess i just wish online digital items werent taxed, but that is probably a conversation for another day.. either way, the codes redeem instantly online, and make great gifts for blizzard fans

Great gift for an Blizzard gamer
|Posted .Despite the name, these cards can be used to purchase anything on Blizzard's Battle.net program, not just for Heroes of the Storm.

$20 Blizzard Gift card!
|Posted .I purchased this to pay for the Blizzcon virtual ticket. The good: -Works for all digital goods Blizzard sells -Best Buy was giving $3 off for every 2 you buy -Works on all Blizard games The Bad: -Does not work at the Blizzard Gear store Know why you're going to buy this before you do. It is NOT the same as cash to Blizzard

You Get What You Pay For
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIt's not that complicated: you buy a Battle.net gift card, they ship it to you, although I lament the lack of e-mail or otherwise instant delivery, you unpack it, scratch off and enter the code, and voila! Worked perfectly, but the shipping was a bit slow. One thing to note is that if you have a Best Buy card, you can get up to 5% off of items like these, essentially a discount on gift cards. It's pretty nice, especially when you use them or send them with frequency.

Splendid Blizzard Cards
|Posted .The only real way to play Heroes of the Storm is to buy heroes with real money. The heroes on the free weekly rotation are usually garbage and countered by paid heroes. Sure you can farm for a month to get half the gold needed for a hero because the gold earn rate is garbage, or you can just bulk up and spend $20 to get two heroes. Also it's great for buying stimpacks for fast XP and gold earning (though even the boosted gold rate is still awful.)
