Director Dave Wilson’s action-packed science fiction film stars Vin Diesel, Eiza González, Sam Heughan, and Talulah Riley. Based on the 1990s Valiant Comics character of the same name, it revolves around Ray Garrison, a resurrected soldier armed with the power of nanotechnology. After regaining memories of his former life, he rebels against the scientists who created him to pursue the man who killed him.~Augustine Chay

An entertaining movie based on the Bloodshot comic. Vin Diesel does a fine job and the story is okay. It's a little typical of comic book movie origin stories but there is definitely potential for future movies if they choose to make them. Worth a watch, and a digital copy with the physical discs makes this a great Black Friday purchase.
I love Vin Diesel so I always check out whatever movie he's in. I didn't know much about Bloodshot since I didn't read the comic books. To me I loved the movie. This was suppose of have been in theaters but because of covid it went to video. The 4K looks good. Another HDR Dolby Vision production. Something to keep in mind. The brighter your TV can get the better the HDR is meaning nit brightness. If your tv can hit hit 600 or higher of nit brightness the better. The story is typical super hero stuff but worth buying if you collect super hero movies
Bloodshot isn't reinventing the wheel, but I think it's been unfairly criticized. It's a fun summer blockbuster, even though it was released theatrically in February. If you have a good home theater system, this movie will put it through its paces. Big action sequences, a solid performance by Vin, and an interesting premise. Again, it's not revolutionary, but it's a big, dumb action spectacle. Take it for what it is and you'll have a good time.
Another great movie with Vin Diesel. Plenty of action, drama and suspense. Being resurrected back to life after being killed in action as a soldier he is an unstoppable force he's on a mission to find out what's real and what's not real.
Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.
With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he's an unstoppable force -stronger than ever and able to heal instantly.
But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too.
Now, Ray doesn't know what's real and what's not - but he's on a mission to Find out!
I didn't realize this movie was a comic book movie until I watched the extras. That would explain some of the minor issues I had with the movie including the ridiculousness of some of the action and weird plot points. The action was certainly very good and the movie moved a quick pace. There was a nice twist in movie as well. As long as you're not looking for an action movie based in reality and can check you mind that the door, this is a worthy movie to watch.
If you love buying blurays as I do, taking advantage of the Black Friday deals at Best Buy is the way to go. You can get the best new titles that came out that year at phenomenal prices. Also Bloodshot is a good movie to watch.
Considering the lukewarm reviews of this movie by critics my expectations were admittedly low. But this was a surprisingly smart and twisty action / adventure. I don't want to give anything away, but co-star Guy Pierce's casting in this was a nice clever touch considering a certain other film he did in his past involving some similar subject matter. The action and special effects are good too as is Vin, Worth a purchase if you like ci-fi, action and comic book movies.
