Synopsis

Deadly Species
The science fiction monster movie Deadly Species is a low-budget straight-to-video release directed by Daniel Springen. College professor Dr. Brinson Thomas (Pete Penuel) and his wife Marta (Allison Adams) travel to the jungle of the Florida Everglades to study a lost tribal community. They are accompanied by the wealthy hunter Wilson Friels (Brian Minyard), who is looking for the fountain of youth, and several young college girls who find opportunities to take off their shirts. A lizard monster tries to kill them. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi

Bloody Murder
Trevor Moorehouse, the legendary serial killer of a remote summer camp, reappears (disguised in a white hockey mask) when a new crop of fresh-faced teenaged counselors arrives to reopen the place. It's not the smartest thing these young adults have ever done, but on their first night at the eerie camp they play a campfire game, Bloody Murder, which not only scares a few of them into a panic but creates tension within their budding romantic relationships. The next day the body count begins, as the counselors go missing only to turn up horribly mutilated later. With just about everyone else dead or missing, spry Julie (Jessica Morris) uses her computer to figure out who had the opportunity and motive -- and realizes she's next. ~ Buzz McClain, Rovi

Bloody Murder 2: Closing Camp
Five years have passed since notorious serial killer Trevor Moorhouse's bloody killing spree at Camp Placid Pines, and despite the fact that her brother Jason had previously fallen victim to the masked killer, Tracy (Katy Woodruff) has decided to follow in her brother's footsteps in becoming a camp counselor. As the campers board their buses for home and the counselors prepare to close-up camp for the summer, the terrifying nightmares that have plagued Tracy begin to bleed into reality as a dark entity begins picking off the hapless teens one by one. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Junior
While on a road trip, a pair of women find themselves stranded with a dead car shortly after filling up at a rural gas station. Sandra (Marlene Simons) goes off on foot in search of help, while Rebecca (Cecilia Bergovist) decides to wait with the car. Before long, both young ladies find themselves unwillingly plunged into a world of terror. The debut feature from director Marc Ickx, Junior is also known as Engine Trouble. ~ Matthew Tobey, Rovi
