fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this air cleaner. easy to maintain. filters are on the expensive side. however I like having the filters to through away dust instead of playing with it and putting it back in the air when cleaning it.

Pricey, but worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did quite a bit of research before buying this unit. The IQ was recommended slightly higher, but it was about $300 more than this unit when I got it on sale for $600 just after Thanksgiving. This unit does an outstanding job clearing the air, to the point that my wife (who has asthma) is demanding another for the bedroom. The lowest fan setting is very quiet and will not be noticable. The second fan level is not irritating either. The highest fan level would be uncomfortable to be around, but you probably will not need that kind of speed or you can set it to that when you will be out of the room. Although the unit is quite large, my impression from reviews is that is unavoidable if you want something that can move a large amount of air (aka can do a larger space). The electronic controls are nice. I would definitely recommend this unit. I also tried a RabbitAir, which was rated at less decibals, but had a high pitch whine that was very irritating.
