    Hear you loud and clear!

My dad has always raved about his old BlueParrot headset. He was driving an old tanker style truck delivering propane with the “2/55 AC”, which was the windows rolled down at 55MPH. So, you can imagine the noise. But, people on the other side would think he was yelling because he’s trying to talk over all the noise. Come to find out, you don’t need to overcompensate, just talk normally. Over the years it seems like they still maintain superior noise cancellation and just keeping up with the smart tech. As for the added tech, the BlueParrot button can be assigned to your preference in the BlueParrot app. By default it is mute/unmute of the mic, but you can make it speed dial, function for a different app, work with voice command with a single tap, give battery status or work as the multi-function button of another Bluetooth paired device. I feel having the voice commands is the best as you can have it do multiple other functions so you can remain hands free. But, the power button can also be used for your phone's smart assistant. This can be worn on either ear as the microphone can flip all the way around or be tucked up to the headband so it is out of the way. There are some other buttons that do not appear so obvious, they are for track forward/back and changing the noise canceling of the headset on/off or into hear through mode. For the most part, it’s fairly comfortable to wear. I do wish there was just a little more padding on the non-ear piece side, but that does help it from slipping off. Speaking of the other side, you can buy an additional ear cup and turn this into stereo headphones, which isn’t the best for driving, but when you aren’t, you don’t have to swap headphones to listen to your phone. Charge time will last you about a day and a half, pending usage as all things batteries are. The range on this is pretty impressive too. Can easily walk about the garage without carrying the phone everywhere. Overall, if you work around a noisy environment and need to have an ear free for safety, these are the best I’ve ever seen. I feel they could use just a bit more volume on my side, but the ANC helps with that a bit. Certainly makes it easier for the other side to hear you with that “96% background cancelation” they have though.

    Fantastic headset for many uses!

I have admittedly had more than my fair share of bluetooth headsets - both in ear and over the head. As someone on the road a LOT, headsets are critical to me because I don't always have the flexibility to use the Bluetooth in my car (if I have passengers, for example) or want to bother with pairing either of my phones to a rental car. This latest BlueParrott B650-XT didn't disappoint! In the box, you'll find the headset itself (which is expandable have a speaker on both sides), the charging cable, and extra microphone cover, and the *COOLEST* car charger I have ever seen. I was a bit disappointed it didn't include a carrying case which is shown on the manufacturer's website as an inclusion. Pros: - Super simple and easy setup - with our without the app. - OUTSTANDING audio quality both in ear and for the people on the other end of the call. - Straightforward app with plenty of instructions and details on how to use the device. - Handsfree voice commands (pro and a con, see below) - Remarkably good battery life. - Noise Cancellation is excellent. - Manual headset jack which may be useful for some. Cons: - Like I mentioned before, I really wish this had come with a case. - It's bit on the heavier side. - Took quite a while to charge. Once the light changed indicating it was fully charged, it was only at 96% - Handsfree commands were kind of hit or miss. I found it easier to use either Siri or Hey Google to perform most handsfree functions. Overall, this is a solid headset. I may not be driving an 18-wheeler, but it sure has been a delight to use, especially if I have other people in the car also on their phones. The noise-cancellation is equal to or better than other dual-ear headsets I have used. I would recommend.

    Solid headset

The BlueParrot B650-XT is an excellent headset that goes well beyond office use. I work from home and was particularly interested in its noise-canceling capabilities, hoping it would effectively filter out the sounds of my noisy child. So far, the headset has been very effective in this area. However, there’s a slight oddity with the noise-canceling feature: when speaking, I can hear myself in a strange way, almost like an echo. I initially struggled to find a way to disable this through the app but eventually discovered the button for it on the headset itself. This headset would be ideal for anyone in noisy environments like driving or construction, as its noise-canceling is truly exceptional. The microphone delivers crystal-clear audio, and I’ve had zero complaints from anyone during calls. A standout feature is the reversible microphone boom, allowing you to wear the headset on either ear comfortably. It also includes a programmable button that can be customized for shortcuts like speed dial or mute/unmute. The BlueParrot app is useful but not essential, as most features are accessible directly from the headset, except for the button customization. My favorite feature, hands down, is the voice control. You can simply say "answer" to pick up calls hands-free. It’s an incredibly convenient feature that quickly becomes hard to live without. Overall, the BlueParrot B650-XT is a high-quality, comfortable headset with great sound and amazing battery life. I only have to charge this once a week, which is very handy. My only complaint is the confusing sound notifications—it sometimes beeps or rings for no apparent reason, with nothing happening on my phone. Despite this, it’s a fantastic headset.
