I have 3 little ones ages 4, 6 and 7. They all love their Boogie Boards. They take them when we do errands and practice their handwriting or play Tic Tac Toe. It goes on. Tree-friendly since you don’t use paper. I took one star away because the 4 tools on each corner come off pretty easy and you could lose them. You could use your fingernail to write or any other object to write on it. But if it comes with these tools, they should be fitted more securely so they don’t fall off and get lost. After all, this is mainly for kids. It’s only a matter of time before these tools get lost.

My wife and I saw this on the way through check out at the store. There were a few models, but one that was very colorful. With our son being two and a half years old, colors get him really excited. it's great because you'd don't have to refill notebook paper, worry about writing on things other then what are meant to be written on, and much better entertainment then using one of our phones LOL.

While the product performed as represented, it was not as easy to use as the picture and description led me to believe and the drawings were not as clear and colorful. The item was purchased for my little one who loves to draw and scribble. She found it confusing and soon abandoned its use. The use and clarity of the product reminded me of the old style Magic Slate drawing pads from my youth.
