Leaves Water After Wash & Poor Bosch Phone Suprt
Posted .DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DISH WASHER IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO WIPE THE WATER IN THE DOOR AFTER EVERY WASH OR LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN WHICH COULD BE A TRIP HAZARD. I TRIED ALL SETTINGS IN THE DISH WASHER WITH JET DRY BUT DID NOT HELP … 2 Stars – Expected A Better Product & Customer Tech Support Service Main Reasons for Rating: 1 - Washer leaves behind lot of water in the door after every wash - no matter what type of liquid and jet dry I use. I tried all modes of wash…See attached picture…taken after wash cycle is completed 2 - Customer Service / Tech Support for Bosch is horrible and RUDE on phone ( NOTE - Best Buy Tech was Awesome but Product has issues) - The girl @ bosch said that all their washers have this issue and Bosch does not make heat dry dishwasher any more...strange... When asked to Bosch tech support for a better model with heat dry – they replied stating none of their washers have heat dry – She also replied rudely in a UK accent stating I just can not return because I do not like the dish washer ( of course I can but I choose not to since it’s a time consuming process to get a return / replacement done…even though Best Buy would suppor it..). I WISH I HAD KNOWN THE ABOVE POINTS AND I WOULD OPTED FOR ANOTHER BRAND OF DISH WASHER WITH HEAT DRY AND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE... Except for above 2 concerns Bosch dish washer is quite and does clean the dishes well except leaves a lot of water in the door after every wash.

44db dishwasher for 50db price.
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Had to adjust to the layout of the lower rack, but I’ve been really pleased how this dishwasher works. I was really focused on getting a quiet dishwasher, and the normal wash registers 42-45db in my kitchen. This is more than half as quiet as the one it replaced which was hitting almost 60db. It’s really easy to get caught up in spec analysis. I was torn between this model and their 300 series (44db models), but I ultimately chose this model for the cost. Aside from looks and the optional 3rd rack, I couldn’t justify the $300-400+ difference in price in my mind. Glad I went this route. Installation is easy enough, but the instructions do not identify the location of the ports. The discharge hose and clamp can be quite stubborn, so make sure it’s secure. This does not come with an adapter to connect to the standard 3/8” supply line hoses. I’m pretty handy, but I give this 4 stars for install.

Completely Satisfied
||Posted .I am completely satisfied with our Bosch SHE3AR72UC dishwasher, which we purchased and had installed a month ago. Having the display on the front, including the time when it will end, is very helpful...especially since it is so quiet. Our dishes come out clean and dry. The silverware baskets have plenty of slots to place our silverware and shorter spatulas. The top "shelf" for longer utensils is very convenient. My sister purchased this same Bosch dishwasher over a year ago and highly recommended it to me. This was an excellent purchase!

Dishes clean and dry
||Posted .A very well designed and made dishwasher. I installed it myself so I got to see how it was made and I was pretty impressed. In use, we have always used the auto wash setting with the sanitize setting and the dishes have come out spotless and dry. Of course, if you have glasses with a concave bottom. they will collect a little water and that won't dry. I have never seen a dishwasher that will dry that! Bottom line, great dishwasher at a great price. Consumer Reports gave it a great rating and I would agree.

LOVE this!
||Posted .I've had the Bosch Ascenta for a month and am really loving it. It replaced a 24 year old GE dw that was on its last legs. Initially I had some qualms about the Euro tine design -- would my dishes fit -- but I find I'm able to fit MORE dishes in than before. And they come out really, really clean! Like another reviewer noted, my mugs had tea/coffee stains but after a couple of washes in the Bosch the stains are gone! And I haven't had any problems with pulling the lower rack off the track. Maybe if you were a burly strong guy that would happen (I'm a reasonably fit woman). As for noise level, the motor is very, very quiet but you do hear the water sloshing around. I think the marketing stuff lead me to believe you wouldn't hear much at all, so at first the water noise bothered me. But then I realized it's a dw, of course there's going to be water sounds, and I got over it. When I watch TV in the next room while running the dw I no longer have to turn up the sound. So the dw is really very quiet. I'm glad I paid a bit more to get the model with fold-down tines on both top and bottom, and two fold down stemware racks (instead of one). Really adds to the versatility. I use a lot of little custard cups for things, and they fit on top of the stemware racks when folded down, which really boosts the capacity. Bowls haven't been a problem. I put them in the top rack, usually where the tines fold down, and also on the bottom. Oh, and I love the sanitize feature for my cutting boards. Finally, the cutlery caddy is fine. I've used it both with and without the 'grid' and things get clean either way. Bosch really nailed it with this dw, it's a great value IMO.

AVOID...DO NOT BUY!!!!
Posted .I purchased this unit along with installation and warranty coverage. What a waste of my time!!!! My parents have had multiple Bosch dishwashers they have loved, ha I LOATHE this thing!!! Within the first 24-hours I called them as the entire inside was soaking wet and the soap was NOT dispensing. My salesman treated me as though I had NO CLUE how to use a dishwasher saying it just needed Jet Dry. I explained you shouldn't need an additional product in order for a dishwasher to do its basic job....wash dishes. I ran a total of 5-cycles on the first one, (along with the stupid jet dry, which it drinks like a fish!) with it only getting worse each time. Today they came out to replace the first one and in the first cycle did the EXACT same thing. So I am STILL hand washing ALL the dishes from my move, 2-weeks in, 2-dishwashers in and have to get an entire different model all together. Nothing but a total waste of time! DO NOT DO IT!!! They should take this model off the market all together!! I would rate it a big fat 0 if I could!

Quiet, performs well,
||Posted .We have found the washer as quiet and washes well. Concerns are that the bottom drawer is very light weight and gets off track easily (irritating.) Also the installation materials do not cover up gaps on the sides and and top well so that a washer on an outside wall lets in cold air rather than being insulated within the cabinet.

Q: QuestionThis DW doesn't have a heated drying cycle? Do the dishes get dry in reasonable time? How long does it take? For example, if I use the delay and start the machine at 1AM wil the dishes be dry by 7AM?
Asked by AnnieM.
- A:Answer We don't use the delay start function and have only used the automatic wash setting....it shows a cycle time of 1 hr & 59 min at start. I have opened it soon after the cycle is completed....still warm inside....and all are dry including plastic stuff.

Q: QuestionCan you tell me the length of the shortest wash? I am looking for an express wash. We seldom use our washer. Just for parties and big dinners - maybe 15 times a year.
Asked by Kathy.
- A:Answer Hi Kathy, thank you for your question. The shortest wash cycle on this model is the Express wash which is 30 minutes. The Express cycle is designed to clean lightly soiled dishes and reduce overall wash time. You can use this cycle to clean glasses and dessert dishware that may need to be reused at the same event.

Q: QuestionYour/Best Buys reviews all say Stainless Steel Tub, however, after looking at this same model in person at Sears, it is NOT all stainless as it has a plastic bottom. So, although BB has the SAME model #, is BB's model all stainless or not?

Q: QuestionTub is described on-line here at Best Buy as stainless steel, but one individual wrote that it is NOT. They wrote that the bottom is plastic. Can anyone else confirm? Thanks
Asked by Jake86.
- A:Answer I checked the dishwasher because I didn't even know the answer. It is indeed plastic on the bottom. It is grey plastic so it isn t so noticeable. However, I don't think it really affects the cleaning ability of the dishwasher. I've had stainless steel tubs that were terrible and plastic tubs that worked very well. Don't base your choice on this detail, IMHO.

Q: QuestionHi, I just had an installer refuse to open the box for a Samsung dishwasher because my opening is 23/3/4" wide with a current dishwasher with a 24" door. He said your tub is 1/4" narrower. Would it fit.
Asked by Soubeach.
- A:Answer The installers' have a hard time. Best Buy has a terrible "problem with the computer" system. We returned our Bosch because it didn't dry at all. The replacement order was botched several times and we waited 5 times to get the replacement. So, be aware that the installer's are getting jerked around by poor "computer problems" and poor quality appliances so if your space doesn't work they don't want more problems....can you shave a quarter inch, side to side?
