Great at washing, but I don’t like the racks
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cleaning, QuietCons mentioned:RacksI’ve had this dishwasher almost a month. Like others, I was limited by height due to last homeowner putting new flooring on top of old. The dishwasher cleans great (note: I am of the team “pre wash dishes” so I’m not putting big globs of food in there). As other reviews have mentioned, it doesn’t dry plastic that great, but I haven’t ever really had dishwashers that have been good at that. If I use the sanitize feature it seems to help a little but it was making the designs on my pint glasses fade so i stopped using that setting. The glassware and pans come out dry. I just open the dishwasher and let the plastic air dry, so it’s ok for me but for those w families or a bunch of people using it, that could be annoying. My issue w the dishwasher is the way the racks are designed. It’s hard to fit things in, compared to past dishwashers. The top rack seems could have a lot more space for cups and glasses, and one of the rows has short prongs halfway down which I don’t find helpful. The bottom rack has big gaps in it, and it doesn’t fit bowls that well esp smaller ones. And it doesn’t hold large glasses/water bottles/ misc stuff like that super sturdy on bottom rack. It takes 2 hr 15 min to wash a load on normal, which is fine w me. It runs incredibly quietly - never had a dishwasher this quiet before! If you have to buy this dishwasher bc there aren’t any other options, don’t sweat, it works well and you’ll be fine. If you have other options, check out their designs before deciding.

Horrid horrid dishwasher

Quality2 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5Pros mentioned:DesignCons mentioned:Dishes, Utensils, Wash cyclesThis is such a horrible dishwasher that I don’t recommend anyone ever bother or they will tear their hair out like I am. I had to buy this ADA compliant dishwasher because the cabinet space in our kitchen is too small and no installer was willing to “shove it in” like our previous standard sized dishwasher. This dishwasher not only does not clean well and I have to often rewash by hand quite a few of the dishes. It has terrible selections, no “dry” button and every load is still soaking wet after an almost 3 hour wash cycle. It smells like food is rotting for some reason - it may be due to some kind of condensation style drying but the dishes smell like rotten food and are wet every so I have to kind of prop it open and let it air dry. The spacing in the basket dishes is so poorly thought out and organized. The dish “holders” are so short that I can’t get anything to stay up in there and so close together for almost all dishes - forget being able to put any normal size bowls in there. I end up having to haphazardly pile like 5 dishes at a time as it doesn’t hold them up and with how badly it washes I don’t want to risk having to rewash them. I constantly have a second load to do because of it. The flatware bin doesn’t fit well anywhere and it takes up almost a quarter of the space which is already smaller. And it’s so poorly designed that somehow the utensils don’t get washed well and I have to hand wash them. I seriously get so upset every morning having to deal with this ridiculous dishwasher. It cost so much more too because of the ADA compliant style (it is a bit smaller and shorter) and I sooo regret this purchase. Don’t make the same mistake I did and avoid this one.

Great machine also very quite
|Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Well our old dishwasher finally stop working and draining so next me and my wife are in Best buys trying to see what can we get. The old dishwasher was put in before the new floor was put in so the opening is now shorter that many standard machines so I measured it and took the picture to the Best Buys and showed the sells man, he said only Bosch makes shorter machines they are built for ADA (Americans with Disability Act ) I was not ready to pay so much more but no choice it came with free installation. We wanted white also, it was a special ordered. Then when came the time to deliver Best Buys said we can deliver but can not install at this time due to the Covid-19 I said fine bring it over we will decide what to do. But they made another installation appointment in case things got better. They did the delivered it and then two weeks later with all prepared masks and all they came and install the machine. I was happy to see that they did not give up. It was a mes to get the old one out sine now the new floor was on the way, but we did it , now to install the new machine took may be 15-minutes. This Machine is state of art and with great workmanship made in Germany. All you have to do is push a button and it does everything. We have not seen our dishes this clean ever before. Did I say it is one quite one we can not tell if it is on unless you get close to it. Very happy with my purchase and in the time like this to see Best Buys stands on their words and costumer comes first. Now we have had this machine for a month.

As expected for a Bosch, quality brand
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWe opted to return this item but I know others that have this dishwasher. We have a large family so we decided to spend a little more and get a "tall tub" model that holds more place settings and has an adjustable third rack for cutlery and other small items. Please note this this is a European brand and is made like most European products are made: to conserve energy. It does not have a heated dry feature. Our friends have no problem with theirs and the model we opted to purchase when we returned this one has the same condensation drying feature. I don't mind opening the door a little if I need to as some reviews mention, but if that's a big deal for you then I guess you'll want to stay away from Bosch and many other models that don't have a heating element for their dry cycle. I look forward to not our kids melting items in the dishwasher AND saving money with this energy efficient feature. It seems a lot of companies are going this direction. I figure it's also one less part that might break, but Bosch is known for longevity so I wouldn't expect many repairs to be necessary anyway.

Works well

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5We bought this dishwasher because we had limited space and it was one of the 4 they had that would fit. It’s very complicated to use. Had to read the instructions a few time to set the settings I wanted. I couldn’t just push buttons like my old one and it doesn’t have a clean indicator like my old one. It’s works vey well though after you get the settings right.

Good for the deal I got for it.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5I was really motivated to buy this model for work due to its dimensions and promotional deal. It's been 2 months since I purchased it and it works pretty well the only reasons to which this is not a 5 star review are because the manual was a little confusing when starting the cycle for the first time and the functions were a bit annoying to maneuver. The customer service support has been great though, kudos to them!

Q: QuestionI'm a bit in shock how long the cycles are. My GE that I'm replacing had a 30 min quick wash that I loved and was completely thorough. What is the best cycle to use for less water and less time?
Asked by Stephanie.
- A:Answer I think it is very efficient with water even with the long cleaning time. Actually, I think the reason it’s a long cleaning time is because it is being efficient with the water. I haven’t tried to find a shorter but it doesn’t bother me because the dishes are so incredibly clean when it’s finished! I love this dishwasher!

Q: QuestionHi Is the stainless steel front fingerprint proof? And, does this washer do pots and pans?
Asked by KOCO.
- A:Answer Fingerprint proof? Difficult to say, we'r using it in office. So no little smudgy sticky fingers! Pots and pans? What dishwasher cannot do pots and pans? Question is why would you? Better for pans to do by hand, sorry. But stainless steel I'm sure you can put in. Non stick: NEVER ! Hope this helps. Machine is awesome btw, SUPER QUIET. So quiet in fact that first time I turned it on, I thought it was not working! We love it.

Set the softening system as follows: 1. Ask your local water utility company for the water hardness value of your tap water or use test strip. 2. Required setting can be found in the water hardness table. (same page) 3. Press On/Off button 1. 4. Hold down function key A and press Start button 6 until the display 3 indicates H:00x (x can be any number). 5. Release both buttons.
