We purchased this microwave after owning a Dacor that lasted 3 years and a Panasonic that lasted 3 months. The Bosch 500 Series is far and away better at evenly cooking and being consistent. We use our microwave several times a day and need it to be a work horse. There have been some people who have given Bosch microwaves bad reviews, but for this specific microwave we have been quite satisfied with its operation, quality and appearance.

We like everything about this microwave. Great product. The only caution I would suggest is it appears to be the exact same size as the GE I was replacing. However, if you plan on installing the trim kit it will require a space that is 4-5" taller. The trim kit is relatively easy to install and Bosch does a great job with the materials. The problem is the 27" kit is bigger then the comparable GE. To install per the instructions I would have had to rebuild the cabinet around the microwave in order to mount the top clips. My work around used the bottom clips as instructed and the two way tape that came with the trim kit to tape the top of the trim kit to the cabine instead of using the top clips. Not ideal...but it looks good and we have had no issues after a month of use. One other important point regarding Best Buy online orders. When we ordered a Bosch dishwasher (replacement of GE), we selected delivery and recycle our old dishwasher. When delivered, the people were great installing the dishwasher and taking the old dishwasher away. The same options are available if your order this microwave online giving you the impression Best Buy will deliver, install and remove the old microwave. NOT TRUE. Best Buy delivers the microwave to you in a box; that's it. When I confronted the deliver people they were very nice but had literally never installed a microwave or any other appliance. They called their manager...but the manager had no power to do anything. Afterwards, I contacted Best Buy and they have not responded. Really bad customer service. Installing a microwave is not a big deal if you simply are setting the microwave on a self and plugging it in. However, if you are installing a trim kit, it can be time consuming and you can run into unexpected issues as mentioned above. I guess the good news is this experience enabled me to write this review regarding the trim kit size. Not sure that was the intent of Best Buy. Our Best Buy experience with our dishwasher was great which made our decision to purchase from Best Buy again a no brainier. The experience with the microwave was just the opposite.
