Best range I've ever owned
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI had previously owned a gas Bosch which I adored. After buying an all electric home, I was baffled as to what to buy. I read reviews for all the higher end brands - GE Profile, Kenmore Elite, but the only brand beloved by all the reviewers was this Bosch. Yes, it is $2,000. Yes it is a true Drop In range, meaning your cabinets must be built around it . I would never own anything but a drop in as you have no "gunk" between your range and cabinets because there is no space. You can still pull the range out to clean the floors but the clean look is so high end and worry free. The range is fantastic. It took me FOUR full weeks to pull the lever on this decision, but I am so happy. It works fantastically, the heat on the range top is very even. The top is easy to clean and the "push" bottom drawer is really nice. If I ever need an electric range again, this is the ONLY one I would buy.

Love it! But a lil difficult

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

Bosch Convection Range in Black Stainless
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Bosch Convection Range offers many options for convenience cooking. It was the answer to being without an oven for some time. I really like the stainless black appearance. It is a great accent for a modern kitchen. The confection option cooks everything well.

Great features for the price

Quality5 out of 5I owned the prior model but we moved homes. This model is even better. It is still a wonderful performer and beautiful. Now it has metal knobs. The only thing it is missing that I had before was the plug in meat thermometer (which I only used at Thanksgiving).

Perfect range!
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is one of the few true slide-in ranges left on the market that overlap the counter on each side. The cooktop is powerful, with great temp control and flexible configuration. The oven bakes so perfectly and evenly, it made me realize what I had been missing for years with my old oven. The convection settings work great, as does the proof setting and the warming drawer. Best range I’ve ever owned.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5We had this Bosch stove and Bosch dishwasher installed a week before Christmas. We had a full kitchen renovation and this slide in oven tops it off. The first time we used it we put in a oven thermometer to check how on point it was in the temperature it reached. It was right on point. I have baked cookies and a full Christmas dinner. Everything came out perfect and right on time. I had to bake three dishes at once and it all baked at the same time and evenly. This oven is very easy to understand and use. I have not yet been able to use the other features like convection bake, but I am having fun exploring my new slide-in Electric range. I got a lot of compliments on my stove on Christmas. I tried uploading a picture, but the upload failed. Wish I could have shared the picture.

Great range
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe Bosch slide in range is fantastic. The height of the stove fits perfectly with the counter height. I can't say anything bad about this range. It heats up fast & it looks awesome. There's no gap in the back between the range and the wall. We were looking at a different range and there was a gap between the wall and the range, not with the Bosch.

Beautiful high end appliance
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe control panel has so many options that you need to study the manual if you plan to use them all. Regardless, its a stunning high-end appliance from a reliable maker. If you are stuck with electricity as a fuel then I recommend this range.
Q: QuestionIs this range convection only? Or is it also a "regular" electric range?
Asked by kmay.
- A:Answer The range is both convection and regular
Answered by 1stPick
Q: QuestionSome owners of this stove complain that the oven fan is very noisy. Is the fan on only if you're using the convection feature, or is it always on when the oven is in use, not matter which mode it is in?
Asked by kmay.
- A:Answer It does make sound but I do not find it disturbing or objectionable. I read reviews before purchasing this range as well as reviews for a couple of other brands. Unfortunately there is so much information online that it seems if we avoid everything with any reviews which may be negative for any reason we would never buy anything. I considered all of the reviews that I had read and bought this range in Fall 2017. I have not regretted it.

Q: QuestionThe depth says 28 1/2 inches, which will stick out from my counter and cabinets, considerably more...or is that depth with the handle on the front of the oven? Thank you....
Asked by KANIKE.
- A:Answer I measure it to be 28 1/2” deep plus 1 3/4” more to handle. It sticks out about 5” from my cabinets and that includes the handle. 3 1/4” if you don’t include the handle.

Q: QuestionIs this a stand alone slide in or does it need counters on each side to stabilize it?
Asked by Gia.
- A:Answer I installed this myself. It can stand alone and function, but the sides are not finished, so it would look bad. Plus, the glass overhangs the countertop by about 1/2 inch on each side. Overall we love this and we have had it about a year. It is better than the induction oven we replaced.

Q: QuestionIs it possible to lock the front controls? I have a toddler, and I'd be concerned that she would hit the controls for fun.
Asked by JOSH.
- A:Answer Yes, there is a panel lock button on the front. You have to hold it for three seconds to lock or unlock, so thats probably just what you are looking for. We love this stove. It is better than the convention unit we replaced it for.
Answered by BillW707
Q: QuestionThe specification says width is 31 inches, is that just the top for the overhang on the counter top ?
Asked by Freckles.
- A:Answer Hi Freckles. Thank you for your question. The overall appliance dimensions are 35 1/2"–37" H x 31 1/2"W x 28 7/8" D. The required cutout dimensions are 35 1/2"–37" H x 30" W x 25" D. The portion of the range that slides in is 30" The sides are designed to overhang the countertop a slight bit to avoid spillage between cabinets and the range. It also is a bit deeper in the front to give a built-in look.

Q: Questionwe just bought a Bosch 30" Stainless Steel Slide-In Electric Range - HEI8056U. The front left burner which has an inner coil and outer coil when in use turns off and then turns back on? is this normal?? is this to regulate the heat of the burner???
Asked by TDASH.
- A:Answer I don't own a Bosch (am considering it) but I do know that on our older electric stove, the two coil front burner does exactly the same thing. It seems to be normal functionality.
