Q: QuestionHas anyone gotten a rash by using the headphonesrash or dried skin which causes splitting of ear lobe? i had two pairs one broke and now a replacement the first one was fine no problems except for a short circuiting using the second pair the bottom of my ear lobe drys up and starts to itch and the skin splits when i wear it for a long period of time,( thought it was the winter air but after realized it was the headphones). could this be a malfunction anyone else experienced this, and is a good reason to exchange?

- A:Answer Yes I had the same thing with the Bose 700 Headphones ... after a few hours of use I had bad itches, raised bumps and water leaking out around my ears and on the lobes where the rash was. This happened three times after using these headphones (and the effects last for a few day’s each time) and I assume it’s something in the cup material. I’ve now switched to a different brand and all is fine.

Q: QuestionCan you use them with laptop or desktop computer? How well do they block? Two questions here. My son has sensory issues and loud noises are painful to him. Will these cancel out noise if they are not hooked to any device? He would be wearing them during most of the day.. Next question is will they work with a laptop and desktop computer? He has windows on both and watches lots of youtube, Thanks for any info..
Asked by kalebsmom.
- A:Answer They will block out noise when not connected to anything and they do work on a computer and most anything else you can plug them into.

Q: QuestionCan i use it gym?I always listening when i work out especially running, is that okay to use it fro running? how was it when it get sweat?
Asked by Jack.
- A:Answer These are very bulky headphones and while running they will come off your head easy. These are not meant to be sport headphones and will get damaged. If you are looking for sport headphones in Bose I recommend the Bose SIE2 for Androids and SIE2i for iPhone. These are great headphones to use while working out and for music overall.

Q: QuestionOn the bose website there is a distinction between apple and android for these phones. What does this mean?I would like to use this product with both apple and android products. Will I have any issues? What are pros and cons?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Both versions of these headphones will play audio and take calls on most devices, regardless of brand. The specific differences are in the volume controls. Depending on which set you buy, your in-line volume +/- controls will work with either Apple or Samsung devices. We would suggest choosing them based on whichever device you use most often when on the go. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionHeadphones comparisonWhat is the difference between the Qc 15's model and the Qc 25's model ? I currently own the Qc 15 model
Asked by Julie.
- A:Answer You can read the specs for all differences but having owned a lot of Bise headphones I'll mention some that stick out to me. The new QC25s have gone back to an over the ear design (like the QC3s) vs the QC15s on ear design. This seems to help reduce noise that may come through your outer ear since now they seal to your head or hair. The reason I upgraded was my ear pads were deteriorating due to age (always stored in case) which was leaving black specks on my head (not cool) & wire was pulled out of minimal plug strain relief so would have failed where bending soon. Also QC headband was ridiculously wide above ear cups, & silver color sucks. Sounded great, but now you can choose color(s). Also 25s fold smaller into a retangulat case vs 15s toilet seat shaped case. Keep the dual plug adapter from old ones & store with extra batteries. Worth every penny.

This question was asked about the related product: Bose - QuietComfort® 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling™ Headphones (iOS) - White
- A:Answer The materials used in our QC25 headphones are designed for both comfort and durability. While they don’t require scheduled cleaning, they can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Additionally, replacement ear cushions are available from Bose as this is a wearable item. Thank you.
