- A: Sleepbuds feature a 40 track library of relaxation content and noise masking sounds, but they cannot play music, podcasts, or any other audio outside this library. The reason for this is that Sleepbuds cannot stream audio from your mobile device. The power requirements for audio streaming would keep Bose from being able to make the buds small and comfortable enough to wear to sleep. Instead, the sounds from the library are transferred to the buds by the Bose Sleep app and played back locally thereafter.
- A: They are noise canceling, however to say they are active noise canceling im not sure. Active noise canceling will usually change based the pitch or frequency coming in. These earbuds seem to be set at a standard level. One thing to note though is they do a very good job at blocking out outside noise. I have a set of Bose over the ear active noise canceling headphones and these earbuds do a way better job than my headset!

A: I, too, have tinnitus occasionally. Yes, the earbuds can mask it. They won't help make the tinnitus go away, but at least you can escape the ringing noise for a bit.- A: I am in the same boat as you. My wife is the loud snorer. These work extremely well as long as you can fall asleep to loud enough white noise or other sounds that drown out the snoring. I have to turn the volume up to near maximum so it's the only thing I hear. If you can sleep with white noise, these should do the trick. I am very pleased with them.
- A: I had the same problem with the first generation sleep buds and I sent them to Bose directly. They sent me a new pair 48 hours later.
- A: Yes, for me they blocked out sounds especially when playing the sound clips.. they do have a built-in alarm that you can set.
- A: I doubt it would work with a THUD, you feel those more than hearing them. But dog barks and basic noises aren't a problem for these..They do have a snooze feature to stop making the relaxing sounds you can set to on or off and they'll play the sounds until you cut them off..
- A: I am a side sleeper too. They can be a little fussy. If you turn the wrong way you can move it and not hear the sound you chose. Sometimes sleeping on my left side, the bud irritates my ear. I had to use a smaller size for my left ear where my right ear is mostly comfortable. I generally do not lose them though. I had one come out only once.
