Bose is simply the best...
Posted .If you have an opportunity to try one of these in the store- please don't hesitate. Wonderfully produced sound from all genres. I listen mainly to classic rock, alternative, and modern rock... but tests with classical, country, and house music all reproduce beautifully. Like all things Bose, your wallet will hurt a little after purchase... but remind yourself- You get what you pay for. Aside from modern aesthetics (clean edges, aluminum grill wrapped edge to edge, and classic jet black exterior), you'll find room filling sound from a petite, luxurious package. It's a wonderful gadget. I have mine sitting in my office- and already have comments from people amazed such big sound is coming from such a small package. Remote is simple- very straightforward. Works from a wide variety of angles- I haven't found one yet that won't register. The AUX port easily expands the unit to computer or Apple Airport Express use (like in my workspace). I love it.

Ones you go Bose you can never go back.
Posted .Last xmas 2010 i gave myself a treat and bought the bose dock. The quality is great and its easy to travel with. Bose is a good product. I gave the features 3 stars because theres nothing i can actually do with the remote. It doesn't have so much option on it. Overall this product is 5 stars. Best value for money. Now saving to buy bose headphones. Ones you go bose you never go back

Awesome sound system!
Posted .Best portable apple ipod sound system you can buy! Bose is by far the best out there. A bit on the pricey side but well worth the purchase. I only buy Bose sound systems for my home. Spend the extra $$$ and you won't be sorry! Sleek design. Doesn't even take up much space. Dimensions are 12" L x 6 3/4" H x 1 1/2" D. Very simple to use. I bought a silver ipod so it would look cool with the unit. Love it!

Bose is the best
||Posted .I know bluetooth is the most popular thing now but nothing beats the bose sounddock in terms of sound quality. It is the best speaker system at this price range. The smaller bluetooth speakers in the market just don't have the bass that this speaker has. If you want a fuller sound with great sounding bass get this speaker. You can also attach a bluetooth adapter if you want to make this a bluetooth speaker connected to your smartphone, tablet or computer. I use this speaker everyday and am glad I bought this over the other bluetooth speakers in the market. Bose is truly the best! Great sound, Excellent Quality, reliability what more could you want. Also, my older white bose sounddock is still working to this day, 10 years later. I know this one will last just as long if not longer.

The standard for sound delivers
||Posted .If you still have viable old-school Apple products such as a nano, ipod, iphone 4/4S, etc. and want to enjoy room-filling quality sound, look no further than Bose Soundock. The company that sets the standard for quality and performance built a simple-to-use semi-portable standalone speaker that really delivers. It even has a simple mono-plug on the back if you want to hook up even older tech such as a record player, CD player, etc. Not sure about the new players in audio? or those in other tech that have expanded into sound? Stick with the original innovators. Stick with Bose.

Beautiful sound
||Posted .I bought this as a replacement unit, my girlfriend left hers out in the rain and the circuit boards were messed up. I surprised her with it for our anniversary. You do need to purchase the Lightening adapter to use the Ipod Nano, but it works great. Thereis a new Docking station that has the correct plug in on it for the Nano, but can nit play the full size Ipod on them.

Easy to set up and use
||Posted .This was a birthday present for me to use in my home office, which has no TV, no radio, nothing. I hook up my iPhone and listen to Pandora for background music. It's so easy to use and having a remote has been great since it is set up across the room. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Wonderful Sound
||Posted .Granted, Bose is expensive. However, I love the sound it puts out and especially the ease of set-up with my iPod. Because I have both new and old versions of iPods, it is easy to add the adapter and use the newer model. I have tried less expensive docks, but they just didn't measure up -- the music didn't sound as crisp as I like it. I would definitely recommend this item.

Q: Questionwhats the difference between the bose system that is 299.99 and 399.99?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thank you for your question. The difference between the Bose® SoundDock® Series II and the Bose® SoundDock® Portable is that the SoundDock® Portable includes a rechargeable battery. This allows for the convenience of moving the system easily to a different room or location, while still delivering rich, detailed sound without requiring access to an electrical outlet. The SoundDock® Portable also includes a rotating dock to fold neatly inside of the main enclosure to protect it in transit. Both systems provide high quality, life-like audio and each include a remote control and 3.5 mm auxiliary audio input.

Q: QuestionCan you leave it plugged into an outlet continuously? Can you leave this SoundDock plugged into an outlet continuously or will that cause any damage to the SoundDock?
Asked by Al.
- A:Answer If the battery is completely charged and the SoundDock Portable is still plugged into an outlet, the power supply will provide power for the system. This will protect the battery from losing its charge. Due to the automatic charging shut off for the battery keeping the SoundDock Portable plugged in will not damage the product. With that being said, this product was designed for portability so that you can use it anywhere you want to have great sound. Thank you for the question!

- A:Answer The iPhone 4S is absolutely compatible with the SoundDock II, as well as with any of our other current SoundDock models. This means it will be able to both charge and play. Q: QuestionWill the ipod nano work with this unit?Just want music to play on a good system with my nano. Will this work with it?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi, thank you for your question! The Bose SoundDock Series II has been designed to connect specifically to all current iPods and has been certified by Bose to meet Apple performance standards. It will charge the Nano and all other current iPod models through the dock connection and provide you with rich and accurate sound reproduction and a spacious listening experience. The SoundDock Series II system also features an auxiliary input so you can attach other audio devices like another MP3 player, a portable CD player or music Phone. It also features an updated remote control that can switch between playlists. For those Nano iPods that contain a FM tuner you will need to use the headset connection to listen to the tuner as the connected headphones function as the antenna for the radio. When the iPod is docked the headphones cannot be attached, therefore the FM source will mute. Connecting the to Aux input with a stereo cable will allow for the FM tuner to function. (This answer applies to the SoundDock 10 and SoundDock Portable as well .)
