Excellent Sound in a tiny package
||Posted .For such a slim portable speaker in an elegant wrapping, this puts out amazing, room filling sound. I found initially, that the quality of sound produced by the speaker through my Bluetooth connection (phone) was decent however, when I upgraded my Droids audio player with the Jet Audio app and use the AM3D enhancer in the EQ settings, this speaker really comes to life. So, it's not only about the quality of the speaker, it's also about the quality and tuning of the signal it receives. Room placement is key. We have ours near the corner of the room, sitting on Propane stove, only when it's not in use this summer. The bass is more than adequate and using my audio player, I can add depth to the music which fills the room. We love it!

Legendary room-filling Bose sound
||Posted .I have been a fan of Bose for 15 years, although I have never personally had any of their products. This was my first purchase from Bose and it was a gift for my girlfriend who will use it during massages. We both love it. We use it at home too for background noise, although it is hardly background as it fills the room even at low volume levels. It is so precise and crisp in the sound that we can hear what is being sung at very low volumes. This is the perfect music source during quiet massages as it is so precise at such low volume levels. We couldn't be more happy with this purchase even if I did have to save for a few months to be able to afford it.

Works as advertised
||Posted .So many Bluetooth devices fail to connect or are over complicated to set up. Bose has this problem licked. Solid connectivity from great distances are possible. And of course great Bose sound. Great sound for the size of the device compared to others. Spend a little more and buy this. You won't regret it IMO.

Great sound for the $$
||Posted .This little box has great sound. However , it needs more base. Oh well, what can you expect for such a small device. It still rocks our pool daily. The battery is a big plus. I haven't had it run out yet. My guess is it will pump for a full day without needing to be charged.

Great portable speaker
||Posted .Connects easily, has great surround sound for a small space. Charge last long and holds bluetooth connection well. I wish it had a remote to turn on and as needed. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

- A:Answer Yes, each weekend we take the speaker outside to the back yard porch. If I'm using my Mac Book as the audio source, I leave the Mac in the kitchen and speaker out side. It works great in the garage. I say if you keep it from getting wet, there are no problems I see.

Q: QuestionCan connect to Samsung smart tv.Can this be connected to Samsung smart tv? What connectivity options does it have?

- A:Answer It has a, I think it's called a Pc-15 jack? Basically you can Bluetooth a connection or use an auxiliary cable (like a headphone size plug in) some TVs have those. My LED TV has that size of a jack so I could (not tried) to use Bose as the output speaker. IF the TV has Bluetooth capability it might be able to push sound wirelessly but most TVs are designed to receive versus send.

- A:Answer Thanks for your question. The SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile III speaker is our best performing Bluetooth system. It pairs easily with a smartphone, tablet or another Bluetooth device and is great for portability. While it does provide a big performance for a speaker of its size and could sound great in your large room, it may not be the best choice as a designated sound system for that space. If you’re looking for a device to use as a primary music system for your large open concept area, a SoundTouch 20 or 30 WiFi enabled system would be a better option. A SoundTouch system would connect to your home WiFi network and access music from music services such as Internet radio, Pandora, Spotify, Deezer, and iHeartRadio. They allow for easy control via the IR remote or SoundTouch app for computer, smartphone or tablet. Multi-room listening is also possible by adding additional SoundTouch systems. We hope this helps!

- A:Answer I took mine back for that reason. I could never get consistent sound. At times it would be good, then other times it would be too low. Bose says its designed as a personal speaker. I have a portable radio that's 10 years old that has better volume. Sound isn't as good. The Bose speaker does have good sound, lacks volumes.
