Nifty little accessory

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Picked up one of these today for teleconference. Extends to 40 inches as a selfie stick with the tripod collapsing to form a handle. The phone holding spring is quite firm, you would need to work to dislodge the phone. Can mount a regular camera, and has a GoPro type adapter mount. Has a rechargeable Bluetooth fob button to snap pictures. Say at a birthday party, just set it on a table, reach into your pocket and shoot pics. I don't know if it will start and stop video yet because I'm a male dinosaur that won't read instructions. But I don't see why not.

Broke after only a few months
|Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Features
Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5It was only sort of functional for a few months. The stand would fall over about half the time if I tried to film in portrait mode, and it was almost impossible for it to stay in perfect vertical or perfect horizontal. The phone holder was so tight that it made me bleed once when I removed the phone. (And I have one of the smallest phones on the market!) In fact, it was so tight that part of the plastic completely snapped off after only a few months, and now it’s completely useless.

I was mailed used product, it was opened & scrach
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5I was mailed a used product, charged a new price, the product was scratched up, not in plastic rap, box tape was missing. I was appalled that Best Buy operates likeThis. Totally disappointed in the service, lack of quality and product.

I carry this device everywhere I'm, at the beach, at the hotel at meetings and family gathering.. you name it.. many thanks. And for the price is worth it. And the best , is that has a long range signal via bluetooth.

Tripod ok, remote difficult
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality3 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5Tripod seems fine, but remote is difficult. We have android phones and it won't pair. Instructions do not have troubleshooting, or guide on charging, if light should change color when pairing, or even a labeled on off switch. We do not know if light should go out when charged or if it stays on while plugged in. Instructions just say turn on and pair it. I might upgrade to better remote if I can find one.

Truly portable
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I use this when I travel across the Atlantic ocean, because it is truly portable. It works well with my tiny action camera (Yi 4k) and my compact camera (Canon PowerShot S110). It takes up very little space and is very light weight. It can easily fit into my day bag used for touring. It's multi-functionality is another plus.

Q: QuestionI only see photos of tripods with the cell attached horizontally as with this one. Does the adapter allow the phone to be setup vertically and not only in landscape view?
Asked by DNoll.
- A:Answer Yes it can be setup vertically, although when you do the unit becomes very unstable. I just bought it and will be returning it for this reason.
