Works fine. No issues. However, my iPhone 7plus with Otterbox case wouldn't fit in the smartphone clamp; had to remove the cover from the phone. Also, there are NO instructions; you have to figure out what pushes, pulls, turns, clicks, and folds by yourself - all the while praying you don't break anything. There's a part included whose purpose is a total mystery to me (see photo). Also, the back of the smartphone clamp has a plastic toggle handle and a screw hole - for what purpose I'll never know. There's no helpful info on the Bower website and not even any good YouTube videos out there to explain any of these "features" or how to use them. Soooo, just be prepared to figure it out yourself.

The Tripod is very sturdy. However, I haven't been able to turn the head so the camera faces directly toward me.

Not the most easy to use & kinda bulky :( The ball head does not stay in place with a heavier camera. For get it if you are using it with DSLRs. Other than that it’s okay.
