Q: QuestionIs the Noise Cancelling better than Sony MDR-XB950BT and Bose QC35? Please only answer if you own a pair of Sony or Bose.
Asked by Daigi.
- A:Answer Soundstage on these headphones are much better than both the Bose and Sony headphones. Highs are very comparable to the Bose and are much better than the Sony’s. The mids/vocal Bose are slightly better especially if you have the noise cancellation turned on to high on the BW PX and the Sony mids/vocals are very good. The bass are not good on the Sony headphones while the Bass is much better on the Bose and BW PX. The Bose have a more powerful bass while the base on BW PX is not as strong, it is more precise. The noise cancellation is much better on the Bose because it does not degrade the sound quality while BW PX does degrade if you have the NC set to high. There is NC on the Sony’s. I prefer the BW because of the soundstage on the headphones and great sound quality, but if you don’t mind not having a good soundstage than the Bose would be more preferable. The Sony are trash in my opinion. I have all these headphones and much more. Hope this helped.

Q: QuestionSetup question - I will use these between two devices win pc & apple xr phone . SO with switch on px - green light come on then it flashes blue/white continuously . bluetooth on pc shows it paired up no sound need usb cable. xr phone plays fine.
Asked by willie.
- A:Answer Hello, I do not have mine paired with my computer I have mine paired with iPhone 8 Plus and iPad Pro with no problems. I do turn off the Bluetooth on which ever device I’m not listening to because the headphones will keep searching to make a connection if you do not turn it off on one of the devices. The green light indicates the battery is above 50% charged, yellow is between 50-30% charged and red is below 30%. If it blinks red it needs charging. Blue repeating flash means pairing failed so turn off and try again. The white is the Environment Filter noise-cancellation is switched on. You can turn it off by pressing button on right ear piece. You can also contact B&W at 1-800-370-3740 extension 481. I hope this is helpful, take care.
