Bracketron - Earth Elements Universal Vent Mount - Black

I use my iPhone 6S with Google Maps for my GPS when I travel. This mount is simple and small to pack away. Mounting on the air vent has always been the perfect visual location while I drive. Stays in place firmly. Holds the phone on the rubberized magnetic mount securely. One caution. When the vent is blowing cold air, no problem for the phone. But if you have hot air blowing during the winter months, you can cook your phone to death. Not that it ever happened to a smart guy like me. So if you need heat just have it on the floor and not from the vent to be safe.

I used this product for 3 months and not satisfied. TheGrip to the dash mount is not so firm. Though the phone grip is firm. It has a strong magnet which holds the phone. Not so great product.

Perfect for using on long car rides. Hooks and stays in place. My GS7 phone was already magnetic so I didn't need to use the plates that this came with. But if I needed it to be more secured, I can easily place the metal plates for more security with any device.

It's perfect it's sit's away from the heat it has a shelf for extra security and the magnet works great, easily adjusted.

I do apologize for the errors but I'm dictating to my watch at the moment so if something doesn't make sense I do apologize. I purchased this after trying about three or four other holders/mounts. This is very cool it's magnetic and I have an Autre box so I was able to take the rubber off and stick the magnet on which is a 3M adhesive on one side that's the problem it will get into that in a second but once it Was stuck on I put the rubber back over on my OtterBox in you could not see it it did add a little weight and you could feel a little lump but it was not noticeable at all you could basically stick your phone back-and-forth on the holder in it was magnetic in it was very strong magnet never fell off not once it had legs that came down and held the bottom of the phone and I was using a 7+ Apple phone with was stuck on I put the rubber back over on my OtterBox in you could not see it it did add a little weight and you could feel a little lump but it was not noticeable at all you could basically stick your phone back-and-forth on the holder in it was magnetic in it was very strong magnet never fell off not once it had legs that came down and held the bottom of the phone and I was using a 7+ iPhone with it we are with magnetic you could use it vertically or horizontally and the mounts were basically like paper clips that you would put on the vent and then it had and a little anchor I'm on the bottom you would put that on in the nearest the tightness screw in the back where you could rotate it the way you want it and then tighten it up to the point where you cannot move it or you could loosen it just enough to where you could move it but it would hold excellent product but when it came time to give it to my wife removing it was nearly impossible I had to use a screwdriver to get the 3M adhesive to come off the back of the plastic autobox case and it was basically all bent after that I mean you could take it to hammer it on a flat floor all day but it would never be straight again so definitely I want to use only but otherwise in excellent excellent tool

I love the ease of use. It connects to vent easily. The metal plate attached easily to the back of my phone, and it is super convenient to be able to just grab it and go instead of pushing a button to release the grasp of other styles. I drove 2000+ miles over a 4 day period with it and it was secure and didn't fall off once. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. It came with two sizes of metal plates designed to slip inside the back of your phone's back cover, and two sizes of metal plates with 3M adhesive to affix to the outside of your phone's back cover, under any phone case you use. The plate with adhesive would essentially be a permanent feature of the phone (which I understood before I purchased it.) What I wasn't thinking of was this: my phone's back cover does not come off, so I could only use the plates with the adhesive. A week after I bought this (and had installed one adhesive plate to my phone), I had to turn my phone in for a warranty issue. My new phone (exact model), of course, needed a metal plate so I then had to attach the 2nd (and last) 3M metal plate to this new phone. If and when I upgrade my phone, I now have no more plates to use with the adhesive. While I don't expect to have been given an unlimited supply of the 3M plates, it would have been nice if there were instructions included about how to get more if needed. Or I could have thought of these potential issues before purchasing. :) Also, the instructions were EXTREMELY simple. I mean, I'm not sure there were any words on them. I have thrown them out, but I remember struggling over deciphering the images. Maybe it was just me. Overall, I love this product! It works extremely well for me. Looking forward to other phones I could use with this holder, it's going to require me to figure out how to make it work.

Got this to make my life easier on trips (and so that my girlfriend wouldn't have to hold my phone anymore for me,which she wasn't a fan of). It holds my phone well; it comes with 2 different sized metal plates, both are thin enough to fit inside my phones protective case( I went with the larger of the 2 plates to put in my case). The holder itself has what I assume is a magnet? that holds the phone in place very well(because of the metal plate in the case). I've had other phone holders before in the past and they haven't been this sturdy. Only issue I have with it(haha and the reason I gave it 4 stars) is that I have a wireless charger for my phone and the metal plate seems to interfere with the charger and my phone:(. Not a big deal for me though, just use the cable charger instead:).
