Bracketron - Vehicle Mount for GPS - Black

Bought this on sale for $9.99. Although it seems to be a little bit flimsy it has been able to hold my Garmin Nuvi GPS without any negative events such as falling from the dashboard. It is very easy to remove and remount whatever gadget you're using,GPS,phone,etc.. This is especially helpful if you're concerned about the wrong person observing it and then proceeding to break into your vehicle to steal it.

I've used this in two cars. In one it worked great. In the other, the vent slats were recessed enough that you can't really adjust the holder much. Even so, it does the job OK. It also partially blocks one vent, of course. It's kind of clunky looking. The Best Buy where I bought this actually had two identical-looking holders made by Bracketron. One was in the phone section and one in the GPS section. As near as I could tell, there was no difference in the holder itself, although the packaging was a little different. The one in the GPS section was significantly cheaper and that's what I bought, although I use it with a phone.

Price is right. I like the location of installation on the air vent. It does not inhibit my field of vision while driving but easy enough to see for directions. I found it confusing to install

This Bracketron mount fits nicely in the vent and stays snug. It only came out on two occasions. I use it for GPS and when I'm stopped to watch movies. The 360-degree swivel is an excellent feature not present in many other mounts. The foam pads sometimes become a little unglued and have to be placed again. Sometimes the foam flattens and requires several readjustments to prevent the phone from falling out. Overall a very useful and sturdy product.

So the first one of these I bought the soft spongy part that holds the phone in place was not in place and eventually fell out but it was after the warranty had expired, but I still liked it enough to buy a new one and this one it was properly in place. The instructions were a little hard to follow initially but after I figured it out I was easily able to get the 2nd one I purchased connected to my air vent within minutes.

This has been a great mount for my Samsung galaxy note 3. And fits it very well. But there's one thing you have to keep pushing the button in until it will release. That's pretty much the only thing I can find wrong with it. Other than that I has been a great product.

I needed to replace my suction cup bracket because it did not work very well in winter. I was not sure how well this air vent bracket would work, but I decided to buy it because it provided the best visibility for my device given my dash configuration. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how well it works. It is easy to set up; I can adjust it to see my device well; and it does a good job of grabbing the device (I have a GPS that is a bit heavy, but the bracket keeps it firmly in place). The only drawback I could mention is that when I travel on a bumpy road my device shakes a little bit. However, the device has never come loose from the bracket, and the bracket has never come loose from the dashboard vent. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

A friend of mine has this product and loves it. Works great for phone, ipod, and gps since it is adjustable. Also looks nice. Does not get in the way of your vision like windshield mounts. However, I bought it for my new GPS and it is too small to fit newer models. I have a Garmin nuvi 50 LM and it's too big. Had to return it. When they update the model of this item I do intend to buy it.
