Excellent commuter bike and green to boot!
Posted .I have been riding my Brammo Enertia for the past four months and I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations. It really is a real "motorcycle" and handles exceptionally well. It is light, manuverable, and easy to ride. It would make the perfect motorcycle for a "newbie" rider! The fact that it plugs into any wall outlet makes it easy to recharge, no matter where you are. I have recharged everywhere from friends houses to Starbucks. To fully charge costs less than $1. Wanting to go green and knowing that a vast majority of the pieces are made of recycled material just adds the icing to the cake. After state and federal tax incentives, this bike is in line with most all the comparable petrol using motorcycles on the market! I am thrilled with my Enertia and cant wait to take advantage as the battery technology gets better and better!! My experience withg Best Buy was so pleasant and I took advantage of the Rewards Card, as well. If you want to hear about what other owners think, join the Brammo Owners Forum.

A REAL (and real-fun) electric motorcycle !
Posted .I bought my Enertia over the phone from the Portland BB store and I LOVE IT. I own over 120 other motorcycles ( www.alanmoto.com ) and cansay with certainty , not only that this is " a real motorcycle" , but that I find myself riding it MUCH MORE than any gas bikes I own. It is so effortless and silent that you can just slip in and out of your garage without anyone even NOTICING , let alone being dirturbed by it. It also combines all of the fun social aspects of riiding a bicycle around Lower Manhattan. Everyone wants to talk to you about your e-moto , and you can actually talk to people and hear them, and vice versa. Initially I was concerned that "people might not hear me" , but that is offset by the fact that I can hear EVERYTHING. Approaching cars , horns , tires etc.

Quality Electric Motorcycle = Fun
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI purchased my electric Brammo Enertia through the Best Buy store in Portland, OR. The salesman was helpful and I received a great financing deal by using my Best Buy credit card. I had it shipped to Massachusetts and it is the first motorcycle I have ever owned. The ride is smooth and the bike is light, which helps make it easy to handle. I am getting slightly better performance results for speed and distance than what is advertised. I ride to work which makes my commute really fun. The components of the Enertia are high quality and have exceeded my expectations. The batteries have done well for me in a variety of temperatures. The brakes have excellent stopping power and the shocks really help on the bumpy roads of my commute. I am impressed by how well it performs in the rain. The bike feels solid, and keeps good traction on wet roads. I enjoy continuously putting my Enertia through the paces of everyday riding and I am impressed daily on how well the Enertia performs. If you are able, please take a test ride at participating Best Buy stores. I encourage anyone who has purchased or is considering to purchase a Brammo product to visit the Brammo Owners Forum found online. I highly recommend the Brammo Enertia. Riding it is fun and it is a great way to help the environment. As a bonus, I instantly became a premier silver rewards member at Best Buy with this purchase.

Wave of the Future
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is by far the best way to get an alternative energy vehicle. The Brammo Enertia is simple to operate, and costs only about a penny per mile for electricity. It's capable of sub-urban commuting on 40-50 MPH roads, so long as your trip between charges is less than about 30 miles. If you've ever ridden a motorcycle, you'll recognize all the usual controls, and also that a few are missing. With no clutch or gears or engine noise, the Brammo is a lot of fun to ride- especially when you go whizzing by the local gas station.

Bike Is From A Great Company
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe Enertia Brammo is an incredible electric motorcycle (a real motorcycle, not a scooter) that is made here in the USA by Brammo. They are a leading edge e-motorcycle maker with great customer support. And in California you can get about $2,500 back from the State and the Feds for buying an electric vehicle so the price really comes down. Ride one and you will be hooked. Also, there is a great Brammo owners/fans website with lots of information and a great way to meet other Brammo owners. The site is: www.Brammoforum.com
