Customers are delighted by the superior shave quality and ease of use offered by the replacement heads. Many appreciate the excellent fit, resulting in a razor that performs like new, and the economical price point compared to buying a new shaver. Positive feedback also highlights the long-lasting blades and the overall improved sharpness after replacement.
Was hesitant to spend $40+ on the replacement cutter and foil, thinking that my Braun was still working fine. Wow, was I wrong. After quite a few years, the old cutter had gradually lost sharpness. Replacement was easy, and I couldn't believe the difference. Restored the original quality of my Braun shaver. If you shave daily, you really should replace the cutter and foil every 18-24 months. I know that I will, going forward.

My razor is an older model (but so is my face), This is the fourteenth (14th) "foil / screen" on this razor, the blades eventually will wear a hole into the screen from the back. This will take about a year if I use this razor every day. That's 365 shaves before the "foil / screen" will allow the vibrating blades close to my skin. After almost 20 years with this razor, I still get a close comfortable shave and the long term use and convenience of having dependable razor which works well more than out ways the cost of buying those disposable razors which you might get two or three uses out of before you dispose of them and have to go buy more. The cost benefit analysis is as follows: 1. No Shaving cream cost. 2. Replacement cost of the "foil / screen" are about one-third the cost of disposable razors (when averaged out over one year excluding Gels, Creams, etc.). 3. The major savings in time and gas involved in going to any store to purchase shaving gel, razors and / or blades. This one Item purchase includes a new set of blades and a new "foil / screen" Everything one would need to start over like the razor was, when it was new.
