Based on a true story, this biographical drama directed by Roxann Dawson follows the incident of 14-year-old John Smith (Marcel Ruiz,) who falls into a frozen Missouri lake after playing on it with friends. Now unconscious in a hospital bed, John’s adoptive parents fret about his chances of survival. "Christian Movies" have come a long way in the last few decades. A LOOOOONG way. As a Believer, I was captured by the fact that it is based on a real life situation. I don't know how "close" it follows the actual story. My sense is...pretty closely. Nobody does Miracles like God, so I'll leave that part to Him. All I'll say is- Go see it. Miracles happen all the time, but few make it to the news and even fewer to the Big Screen. We are fed a steady stream of bad news and it's refreshing to see a movie like this one AND see it do as well as it is. Wow! Guess I'm not the only one who wants to see more "Good News" than bad. Go see it. Take your family and your friends. Movies like this one need our support and I believe that the success this movie is built on is forcing "hollywood" to make more Faith based movies that we can all attend! No big special effects or mind-numbing music. Just a good story about a great Miracle from God!

A must see movie.

Based on the true story of a teen call broke through ice and was under for 20 minutes. His mother never stopped believing that God was going to heal him. Excellent movie will increase your faith in believing in miracles and how God Can heal people. A must see movie.
Best movie over the last 2 years that does a great job of capturing the love of God and how faith in him never fails! Great movie for all ages as well.
Has great storyline and really draws your emotions out of you with special moments throughout. Has hints of comedy as well. Would be good for any church group but also for any non-believers who may be on the fence.
