Breville refurbished
Posted .I received the 18 variety k cups, but did not receive the other accessories as stated were included. I called Best Buy and they are working to make it right. I wanted the unit to use my own coffee, so I have yet to try that option. My friend said she puts a used k cup in her "My K cup" to make the coffee stronger. I think people should contact Breville directly for them to redesign the filter to be more effective, such as an expresso machine (metal cup with tiny holes) I turned my heat setting to max, but the first cup was not as hot as the 2nd cup. I've been running a small cup of water through first, but that's a hasstle I'd rather do without.....any one else have that same issue? The unit is not very noisy, I just cut out a non-skid pad to place under the coffee cup & edge. I also get 12 ounces from my largest cup size, which I was happy about.

Beware when buying refurbished.
Posted .Beware of buying refurbished. NOTHING I mean NOTHING that was mentioned in the details was included in the box. Best Buy was not aware that when they offered this refurbished it included nothing that the normal appliance comes with. So when I got the machine in the mail, I coudnt even make a cup of coffee. I had to contact Customer Service and wait about a week for other parts to arrive before I could even use the product. Best Buy was super about helping me replace the missing elements, and did send me a box of tea, but all of that was supposed to come with the machine in the first place. Just be warned, REFURBISHED will be a little hassle and an experience. Overall I still love the machine, makes excellent coffee and hot tea. I now use it daily, and save money by never buying coffee anywhere else again. Thanks Best Buy!

$100? Seriously?
Posted .I am sort of amazed at the mixed reviews here as I found this machine to be an incredible value. First off I got it for $106 since it seems BB has it on closeout. Mine actually came with the 18 sample cups HOWEVER most were past their "Best By" date which was dissapointing (not that I won't use it anyhow). The pros... works perfectly, not as noisey as it is made out to be expect when priming which is only done once, looks awesome (minimal small scratches on mine mostly on the grate that the cup sits on), came with sample k-cups which most said were not included but as stated before they were mostly past the fresh date. Cons... dirty There was actually coffee residue on the grate and inside the k-cup holder. Not the end of the world but you would think Breville would be immaculate about that. Also while I expected to not get My K-Cup and filter (doesn't matter as I use bottled water) I was disapointed when I found that the scoop doesn't come with the My K-Cup (at least not from WMT). Once again a small deal but the unit has an empty storage spot for the scoop which I would have liked to fill. Lastly the coffee is too weak at the large setting which is the volume I usually like. Even after filling the my k-cup to the brim with fine grinds (home ground) it was still to weak. Guess I will stick with a smaller cup but they should come out with an XL K-cup as the insert which holds them is removable anyhow. Overall you can get a top of the line Keurig machine for a bottom of the line price. How can you go wrong?

Great Value
Posted .The price for the refurbished model was less than half retail. What I wasn't expecting was it to be missing the filter, scoop and refillable Kcup. These are provided with the full priced model. The missing parts need to be purchased separately. The warranty is 90 days as compared to 1 year on the non-refurbished model. Finally the unit was scratched on the side, still a great value and works great.

Missing Accessories
Posted .Coffee maker is missing all accessories (including water filter) identified as being "included" on product description. Great for making 1 or 2 cups of good hot coffee, but stick to the drip maker for more than a couple of cups. Largest cup size is less than 10 oz - need to make 2 cups to fill my travel mug. My K-cups are expensive. Maker is noisy. Hard to clean coffee grounds from My K-cup filter. Would recommend for the quick single cup of good coffee. Sure beats instant.

Great coffee!
Posted .I am really glad to have purchased this refurbished Breville/Keurig Coffee maker. I have been looking at them for sometime and discovered this one at BestBuy Outlet for much less. It has a little rumble to it while brewing but I just look at it as my wake-up call. I did not recieve the filter or my K cup with it but on the Best buy sight it stated it only comes with the Manual and the machine and for me this isn't an issue because I'm hooked on the pre-packed K cups and don't need to filter my water. If I want them they are available at many retail stores in the area. One thing I did to help the vibration while brewing is cut a pad for it by double folding a non slip rug material and cutting it out the shape of the bottom of the pot and it sits on this. I also cut one out to sit on the tray where the cup sits. The machine is really classy looking as well. I also did recieve a variety box of K-cups with it that I wasn't expecting.

Great applicance; missing accessories however
Posted .We love the Breville Single Cup Coffeemaker. The only problem was that it was advertised as coming with various accessories, i.e., filter holder, filter, My K-Cup Assembly, box of coffee, etc. These accessories are not included in the refurbished packaging. Best Buy eventually gave me a credit toward the purchase price since I had to buy these items separately.

Good for the money we saved over a new one.
Posted .It is noisy, when it is brewing. The tray does rattle, but I can handle some noise when saving $150 over the newer model. We didn't need the filter because we put filtered water in anyway and you can't use both. If you will need a filter and a reusable k-cup, then it would probably be best to just buy a new one when you add it all up. Looked in great shape when we opened it. Looks very nice on the counter with all of the other stainless steel appliances. Don't really notice a great deal of difference between our Keurig except this one looks nicer, holds more water, brews bigger cups and is noisy.
