Breville - the Compact Smart Oven Toaster/Pizza Oven - Brushed Stainless Steel

Pros: awesome. Heats quick, works quick. Cooks things perfectly, nice crisp on the outside but soft on the inside-it’s insane. It also looks aesthetic and is the perfect size! It toasts bread and other things exceptionally as well. I can put a small Pyrex baking dish in it too and it bakes just as good as an oven! Cons: you have to flip the bread in order for it to toast perfectly. The trays are heavy. Doesn’t come with a pizza stone. Overall, great toaster oven. Better than the one we had before but we have only had it for a month or so.

I am very happy with the Breville smart toaster oven BOV650XL. Exellent quality. It is very accurate, bakes even and the alerts are quiet. Love everything about it!

This toaster oven works very well once you figure out that you need a flashing light to change the number of slices of toast or the darkness. The manual isn't easy to use. I needed help to figure out how use it. It's multi functional - it can bake, toast, broil, and defrost. The unit looks elegant, is easy to clean, but the electronic instructions were difficult for me to decipher. I'm 88 and didn't grow up with using tech gadgets. I'm glad I bought it and would definitely recommend it to tech savvy friend. It's also reasonably priced.

Overall excellent small oven. We enjoy the granular settings that are available and the cooking consistency. We do feel that the bake temperature and time seemed to be a touch off. However we have realized that this is because this unit is replacing a convection oven that we have used for years. One thing we are not fans of is that the two knobs on the right side of the unit feel very flimsy when used. We fear that the knobs will break off one day. Otherwise we are happy with this purchase.

I just bought this toaster oven so can not speak to durability. However this is very easy to operate and clean with built in crumb tray. It looks great and is not large (perfect for small to medium kitchens). The toast function works great with toast, bagels, waffles, muffins, and even reheating pizza quickly. And unlike my ovens, this unit does not increase the room temperature. Like other high wattage toaster ovens, the exterior including the door (not handle) gets very hot. Also note, you need to use potholders to pull out the rack. Overall Its a great little oven.

Our old oven worked amazing and I was hesistant to replace it. I'm glad I did though. This oven works great and heats things up quickly and evenly. It is easy to use with plenty of heating options. It also feels sturdy and I'm sure it will last us for years to come.

We bought this item based on the high ratings and have not been disappointed. We have a juicer from Breville, so we knew it was a good brand. The adage of “you get what you pay for” certainly applies here. The extra cost is far out done by its quality. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best toaster type oven I have ever used. This will cook just about anything. So much easier than using the more traditional, larger, more heat in the kitchen, oven. I own the mid size Breville oven and it holds a regular size pie and bakes it to perfection. I use it every day but not for toast and pizza. If that is all you need, buy something cheap. This oven is too smart to waste it on those things.
