Bronco is a good western starring Ty Hardin, who was known as one of Hollywood’s “beefcakes” (which they utilize often, as there are numerous shirtless scenes of Hardin in almost every episode - which I’m not complaining, he was a nice looking guy, lol).
Hardin plays Bronco Layne, previously a captain in the Confederate Army, who now travels from town to town, sometimes working as a ranch hand, and sometimes working as a deputy marshal looking to bring in criminals on the run.
Even though I’ve read disappointing things about Ty Hardin (and his views on things), I really like him as Bronco Layne. Bronco is honest, loyal, a gentleman (especially to the ladies), a fighter when he has to be (he’s usually provoked into fights), he doesn’t intimidate easily (he often stands up to town bullies/people in powerful positions). Bronco’s just an all-around good guy with good moral fiber/values.
