Great Printer

Works great, easy set up and fairly quick. Though I wish it held more paper, it does hold more than some of the other small try units. Happy so far.

Not the fastest printer, but low printing costs

So far, I am more than satisfied. I'm an occasional printer, and it does print more slowly than the "draft" setting on my old Canon Photosmart, but it's not too big, the print quality is very good, and it provides what I need without costing a lot in ink. Definitely would buy again.

Great user friendly home printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am nearly the least tech savvy person around and, by following the simple instructions to input my Internet address and password into the printer and then, on my laptop, going to “devices and printers”, and adding this printer - it was all up and running, wirelessly printing from both my I-phone 6S and from my Dell laptop. The color prints are very nice (as my previous printer was mono color). The price for this printer is very reasonable and I like that the ink refills are also reasonably priced and do not require an ongoing ink subscription as I’ve heard some printers do. The moving plastic parts seem a bit fragile - I handle it carefully and there’s no kids around to worry about rough handling so this is a non issue in my household. Overall a great product, I’m very happy with it - and, if I can set this up and get her going - anyone can!! Thx Best Buy!

Decent, but slow

Easy to setup and use, just a bit slower than I had expected. As long as you aren't looking for something particularly fast, I'd recommend this. Note that it did need a firmware update when initially setup.

Printer is not the fastest and the copy feature is a little slow. Setup was easy, ink replacement is easy, paper refill is easy. Overall, solid printer for the price, great for home use.

The only trouble I had was adjusting the size of the paper tray. It was jammed, but I was able to adjust it eventually without breaking it, thankfully!

Printing wirelessly and scanning are what I do most with it. I'm happy with it but I purchased the extended warranty because I have a history of having printers break down just before the 1 year warranty is up (mostly HP or Epson brands). My mother has a Brother All In One and it's over 3 years old and working great still so I decided to give one a try.

Q: QuestionDoes it scan? I want to be able to use ADF to scan documents that are 2 - 10 pages. I do not want to scan one page at a time. Thanks

- A:Answer The printer will scan documents. It has a top loader where you place your scan documents face down and press the scan button on the digital display on the front of the printer. It will scan as many documents as you want at one time.

Q: QuestionCan this model print in black even if one color cartridge is low or empty, and print in color when black cartridge is low or empty? (I had a Canon PIXMA which allowed black printing when color cartridges were low and vice versa.)

- A:Answer I have only double sided printed once. And yes it is automatic if you choose double sided printing in the options menu. Once you choose the double sided option it prints one side of the page then it sucks it back into the printer and prints the other side of the page. Pretty nifty!
