Customers highly value the MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer for its easy setup, print quality, and quiet operation. They appreciate the convenience of wireless printing and the reliability of the machine. However, some customers find the toner replacements to be expensive and the printer to be bulky and heavy.
They say in "all tests" that lasers are more costly to operate (per page printed) than an inkjet. Well... I don't print that many pages, or rather, there is definitely a lot of time in between printing - and guess what? The nozzles on my inkjet plugs up, printouts are streaked, "weak in print (missing parts of letters and numbers)", colors wrong due to the different colors plug up differently. Remedy: "clean the nozzles, print test page". Now, THAT is costly!!! The amount of ink used up when "cleaning" the nozzles! BTW - this has happened on several inkjets I have owned, made by several different manufacturers. I have always used OEM ink, so no "cheap knock-off" cartridges. This is the fourth [inkjet] printer now that I have given up on. Time and patience... =============================== Well, finally, I did some research and found this printer. Have not owned it for very long, but everything works, and it works great: +Pulls the paper straight (yes, that is important) +Does duplex without jamming +Handles card stock (for business cards) really well - they came out centered and with really crisp text down to 6 pt. font! And same there - it pulls in the card stock STRAIGHT from the manual slot without slippage. +Scanning, copying... no complaints. Very easy to use, scan and mail to your computer. (Not using the fax…) +Software suite installed easily - I had no issues with drivers or any other aspect of getting it up and running - even on my work laptop, which is a total disaster otherwise, due to our "friendly corporate I.T.'s" policies and "security measures". Some negatives: -It weighs a lot. Be careful lifting and moving it. -Only one bin for paper, so you can't have a second source for alternative paper - so manual switching or feeding through the manual slot is what you have to do. Cost of ownership: To be determined. But it is ALWAYS ready, starts up fast and it prints clean, crisp pages. My time and my patience is hard to put a price on, and here it really delivers! Since I am not wasting ink on "cleaning" I really don't expect that my true cost per page will be worse than on the [now discarded] inkjet printers. Just buy it…

Really nice product for a reasonable price. I got this one printer for my home office. It came fully assembled and initial setup steps were very easy and the user manual was very detailed. The print quality is good. I just got this one a while ago so can't really comment on the Toner and cartridge life, but I heard it's pretty good too.
