This is a great keyboard (at least the concept of it) Unfortunately I had to return it for the following reasons: Too heavy (even heavier than my MacBook Air) It didn’t offer any protection to the iPad (which is easy to tell from the pictures of the product) Switching from typing mode to drawing mode was very frustrating. Pros: It is very well made product! I hope the company fixes the above issues I had with it because i really want this product- but maybe a future version. It does give the iPad a lovely laptop feel. Keys are wonderful, it’s sturdy, it’s sleek. It’s a beautiful piece. But I needed a product that was very portable and quick in converting, so I had to return it. But I wish I didn’t have to

So, I’m going to start this off by saying ‘I just got this keyboard today’. I ordered this keyboard because it is not stocked in stores, but it totally should be. It was estimated to arrive in three weeks, OK fine, I just hoped it was going to be worth the wait. It arrived today, only two weeks later (one week sooner than expected) and I have to say this keyboard is great. This keyboard is very sturdy and appears to be built very well. All aluminum, top and bottom. USB-C charger which is great, I’m super excited about that. I just wish it came with a short USB-C to USB-C cable so I could charge with the iPad power brick and/or charge it from the iPad. And yes, I know I could just use the iPad’s charging cable, but still. There are rubber feet on the bottom and on the keyboard so that it cannot damage the screen which is also very nice. The hinge is very solid, and weighted well enough that the iPad doesn’t (usually) fall over. I say usually because at about 145 degrees it starts to fall over. I wish that the iPad could easily be turned around on the hinge to be used just screen side up. You can do that but you need to remove the magnetic back cover. Speaking of that, there is a magnetic leather-ish back cover to protect the back of the iPad. I really like the soft material that they used and it goes into place easily. The keys are soft but accurate, a good mix between Apple’s folio keyboard and Logitech’s Keyboard. They are backlit which is always a plus, and a bit more responsive than your standard membrane keys. This keyboard is aluminum, so it does add some weight. If you want a thin and light keyboard, this probably wont be the one for you. I use this iPad as an alternative to a laptop and this keyboard makes it that way. With this keyboard it is about the same weight as a small laptop. This part is a pro for me, but might not be for everyone. The only thing. With this case there is no way to secure the Apple Pencil besides just having it magnetized to the iPad and charging. There is enough space above the keys and before the hinge that they could have had a cut-out to fit it, but then the case would have to be thicker. Or maybe something in the wrist rest, but that’s just an idea. Overall I am very satisfied with this keyboard and I would recommend it to anyone who plans on using this iPad instead of a laptop, because this makes the iPad Pro 11” so much better. Realistically I’d give it a 4.5/5 because of no way of securing the Apple Pencil, but it does not deserve a 4/5. So... 5/5 it is!

Love the concept of this keyboard but found it lacking enough to return it. I so wanted to love this keyboard. Aesthetically it is gorgeous, very appealing to the eyes. Shortcuts are fantastic. However the drawbacks were: Way too heavy for me. It felt heavier than a MacBook Air To flip the iPad and use it in drawing mode was very inconvenient It does not have much protection for the device Because it really did feel like a MacBook, my hand kept reaching for the trackpad. I do think this company has potential to develop amazing products, and I so want to buy this keyboard again, maybe in a couple years when they iron out the kinks. Definitely think this keyboard is more sturdy and beautiful than either Zagg or Logitech Products.
