Very dissapointed in this productPosted .
I am in the I.T. industry and Buffalo is known for quality (mostly speed) but can't say that's what I got when I purchased this product. The device was barely able to acquire the wireless signal transmitted by my 2WIRE Wireless Router and when connected, it would connect at around 2Mbps and pinging the router would often times return 2/4 packets lost if not 4/4! My wireless router is only less than 15ft away from the computer connected to this device. So then I decided to return this more expensive product and purchased a cheaper alternative by Belkin and it worked out great! The Belkin Wireless-G USB 2.0 Network Adapter was able to connect to my 2WIRE wireless router at speed of 54Mbps and 0 packets loss when pinging my modem or sites like yahoo.com. I am normally a believer of "You get what you paid for" but this is definately not one of those moments. Truly dissapointed in this product... I think it may have worked out better if I had a Buffalo Router but I was not going to spend an additional $80~120 on top of the $40 for the Wireless USB device when it made way more sense to simply purchase a $30 Belkin Wireless USB to try and it worked out perfectly. So I kept the Belkin device, went to a local Best Buy, returned the Buffalo device and purchased another Belkin wireless USB for my other computer. No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good USB wireless adapter for the pricePosted .
Performed better than expected. Quick, easy install. Compared to Linksys and Dlink, a better product at a better price point. Works flawlessly on a windows xp box.I would recommend this to a friend

Installation took like 5 minutes and I was surfing the web at extremely high speeds even online games were really fast to load. Im using it on my desktop with windows XP. Works really well for 50.00$. I would have no question about buying another buffalo product.I would recommend this to a friend
