Great Purchase
Posted .This season introduces the character of Faith - another Slayer who is the opposite of Buffy's personality. Wesley is introduced as well, as a new Watcher. "Band Candy" is a good episode, in which the adults of Sunnydale begin acting like teenagers, including Joyce and Giles. But I can't stand Buffy's mom. Although they were probably trying to portray her as being motherly, she just came out as a bully. Xander may be dating Cordelia and Willow may be dating Oz, but Willow and Xander become closer. There's also a vampire Willow episode. "Helpless" is a terrific episode where Buffy has to battle evil without her super powers. It shows that not only can she act in a crisis, but she can also think on her feet. I thought the Mayor was a fantastic character. His overacting always brought a smile to my face. He's the big bad of this season, but it's not the last you'll see of him. Buffy also goes to prom - with Angel! However, I think Angel acted like a total butt in that episode. Whatever he had to say or do could have been done after prom. That was HER night.

One of the Best Seasons
Posted .This is one of the best seasons of Buffy, with the introduction of Faith and the continuation of some amazing story arcs found in the second season. The Mayor is one of their best villains, and there's even a Spike episode. It would be very helpful to have seen the season two episodes first, but it's still possible to understand what is happening if you haven't. The special features are also nice for this set, definitely an improvement over the first season.

Faith
Posted .Faith comes in this season and you get to now her. If you haven't seen the 2nd season yet get that one first because this season relates a lot to that season.

Fantastic series
Posted .This fantastic series by Joss Whedon continues to get better, as Buffy and the gang face their senior year in high school -- and vampires, demons and witches!
