Marguerite Baca knows how to teach a novice the basics of yoga. During this 40-minute tape, she teaches the "classical" sun salute and a number of standing poses. All of the positions are held for a long enough period to make the demonstrated routines beneficial. Instruction is also provided on the proper way to breathe. Some users report being able to both relax and sleep better after mastering the moves shown in this tape and doing them on a regular basis. Modifications are given for various positions to make them more useful to those at different fitness and learning levels. However, this tape is definitely targeted toward those who've never tried yoga before.
