Another Zom Com
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie was much better than I expected. The right mix of a romantic comedy, and zombie flicks. Max works at a Halloween store and has a snobby girlfriend named Evelyn. Evelyn comes into the shop one day and sees a Genie idle that looks like the devil. She wishes that she and Max will stay together forever. Soon after, she's hit by a bus and appears to be dead. Some time goes by and Max hangs out with Olivia. Evelyn comes out of the grave and lives life as if nothing has changed. Max tries to get rid of her and hide her away from Olivia. If you like quirky comedies and zombies, you'll love BURYING THE EX!!!

Another gift from Joe Dante on Blu-ray
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this release is lacking in the extras department and is far from being the director's best film, it should be a no-brainer purchase for Joe Dante and horror comedy fans. The disc features top-tier video quality and a great sound mix that showcases another solid score from Sam Raimi favorite Joseph LoDuca. Joe Dante directs this smaller, low budget film with his typical style and humor, adding in just enough gore to satisfy zombie fans. This is essentially his take on the modern romantic indie film by way of an outrageous, horror breakup story. Highly recommended for Dante fans and those new to his work. After this, be sure to seek out The Howling, Gremlins 1&2... and while it's still summer, check out his original riff on Jaws, Piranha (1978) - all on Blu-ray!

Extremely funny
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked this movie so much. Ex girlfriend that wont go away even in death. Great actors and sadly one of them had their career cut short.

Blu-Ray Exclusive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a sucker for Blu-Ray Exclusive movies being released through BestBuy. The sticker on the slipcover makes it very official. Lol! Moreover, the price is worth it; cheaper than Amazon, and release date is earlier than what is advertised on said website. Perfect for movie collection, perfect for anything exclusive.

Very fun horror comedy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Burying the Ex was a surprise hit with me! After being let down by Warm Bodies, I was reluctant to watch another zombie love story. But this film delivers! Funny, entertaining, and very rewatchable! Plus Ashley Greene and Alexandra Daddario are gorgeous!

Dead girlfriend comes back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Burying the Ex is a good movie, dead gf comes back to life to "torment" her boyfriend. There are two movies with this same plot line Life After Beth being the other which I think is a better movie over all.

Zombedy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know zombies comedies are about played out, but I still enjoy ones that take it up a notch. I really thought this was a fun movie. Nothing too new but it had some differences from the past zombie comedies. Worth a look.
