Two hilarious early short subjects from the legendary silent comedian known as "The Great Stone Face", beloved by audiences for his death-defying pratfalls and deadpan delivery. The Blacksmith follows Buster Keaton's doleful everyman as he takes on an apprenticeship with the local blacksmith (Joe Roberts), and The Paleface finds Buster at war with an Indian tribe that wrongly believes he's going to seize their land. Both features are also directed by Keaton.
