Description
Gene Saks directed Goldie Hawn to an Oscar in the comedy Cactus Flower, which comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials are limited to theatrical trailers. While the lack of extras is disappointing, Columbia/TriStar should be lauded for making this film available in widescreen.
