I purchased the grill in September 2020. Grills okay but now I see a permanent stain/mark on the flat grille surfaces that cannot be removed. I will be calling customer service as I have tried mulitple dish detergents to remove these marks without success. Overall, grills fine but does produce alot of smoke and flattens out any meat that is placed on the grille when the top grille is utilized.

I thought this might be a hit with my wife and daughters and for once, I wasn't wrong. Our use of the product has slowed, but initially, we were knocking out paninis pretty regularly. It seems to be a pretty solid piece of equipment and I like the temperature know and the digital read-out. We have noticed that when we make a thicker sandwich, the lid may not come down flat and might have to be adjusted to prevent the back from being smushed and the front from getting only limited pressure. All things considered, it makes a good sandwich and the plates don't seem to be too hard to clean.

I use this grill fairly frequently - about twice a week mostly for chicken and vegetables. I also use the griddle plates, maybe once a week. It heats up quickly and cooks very evenly. There are a couple of problems with it that we've been looking past because it's so convenient. On is that there's still a strong plastic smell when heating up; I assume this is the nonstick coating. I thought it would go away after a few uses, but I've had it for a few months and it's still there while preheating. And like other reviews mentioned, I've only used rubber spatulas, but there are still some small chips in the nonstick coating.
